Eligibility for Warehouse Associate roles:
- You have worked at Lush Manu/Distro in a core position for at least 6 years
- You are an impacted Vancouver employee (given working notice in September 2024)
- You currently hold a DA or Team Lead role and have 6+ months of experience in Distro or Goods In (within the last 3 years).
Availability: Full-time with an ability to work mornings, afternoons, and occasional overtime, holidays and weekends.

You help to quickly and efficiently support the business through picking, packing, storing and stocking our handmade products and get them ready to be sent out to our shops and customers around North America. With a keen eye for safety and following Standard Operating Procedures, You work cohesively as a team to meet your department targets and support one another in completing Warehouse and shipment tasks.

Reporting to the Warehouse, MIT the Warehouse Associate undertakes the following RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in stocking, storing and transporting materials and/or finished orders to the appropriate carrier and mode of transport in accordance with transport regulations including but not limited to: confirming accuracy of information on all shipping labels, using the floor scale to weigh shipments and record results
- Assist in various shipping responsibilities and utilize standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes for shipping protocols including but not limited to: confirming accuracy of information on all shipping labels, Verify, receive and put-away incoming inventory of materials, Follow packing and shipping instructions according to department guidelines, notify drivers, ordering shipping supplies, resolving issues
- Support the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies as needed and prepare and monitor all required documentation
- Perform physical tasks including but not limited to: loading, unloading, sorting, and moving skids, products, and materials
- Keep up with Pounds Per Hour (PPH) demands and daily targets while minimizing waste and maintaining quality standards
- Utilize the correct tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes for stocking and replenishing shelves, racks, cases and bins
- Support inventory operations including but not limited to: conducting daily inventory counts, product rotation checks, investigating and reconciling inventory issues.
- Troubleshoot with other departments when necessary to reconcile any issues and communicate fulfillment concerns
- Use a handheld scanner to pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently and in accordance with the FIFO method
- Practice safe working habits, utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE), and escalate any health and safety concerns that may arise to Leadership
- Supporting peers with daily duties and responsibilities while ensuring safety and SOP guidelines are being followed
- Keep up with production demands and support production for a variety of fresh, handmade departments and product lines as needed
- Maintain and encourage a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment and work to develop trusting and collaborative relationships
- Uphold the ethics and the culture of Lush and follow all policies and procedure
- Proactively shifts expertise to support all roles within the site, including covering absenteeism and production increase requirements as needed
Who you are (Qualifications):
Required:
- Available to work Full-Time AM, MID, or PM Shift
- Flexibility to work within the Distribution, Digital and Manufacturing businesses as required
- Confident with basic mathematics, ability to count, including addition and subtraction
- Able to do physical work for 8-hour shifts, on your feet and lift 50 pounds
- Capable of physical activities such as standing/walking for long durations, bending down, pulling and pushing
- Excellent problem solving, communication and organizational skills
- Able to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
- Open and adaptable to daily feedback on performance
- Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable
- Competency in English: reading, writing, and speaking
Preferred:
- Understanding of transportation of dangerous goods/ FDG Certified
