The Role: Business Process Lead
The Business Process Lead works with the team that supports ERP system and internal business processes. They support Lush Manu in achieving successful planned production, capacity planning and inventory management through optimization, process improvement and the implementation of effective systems.
The Business Process Lead works cross-functionally to ensure that system configuration and set up satisfies all manufacturing needs. They draw from cost accounting, capacity planning, forecasting staffing requirements, and other business needs to prioritise process effectiveness. They support the successful change management of new processes, systems, and workflows.

What you do (Responsibilities):
Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, the Business Process Lead will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Lead the Business Process team to streamline and optimize existing business systems including but not limited to inventory management, production planning, labour scheduling, and workforce planning
- Allocate team resources effectively across projects to ensure optimal workload distribution and project success
- Focuses on the strategic design, improvement, and execution of end - to -end business processes by optimizing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and effectiveness
- Collaborate with senior and global leaders to lead strategic inventory, production, and labour projects. Make recommendations on what systems and processes the business should prioritize
- Facilitates the execution of projects
- Regularly communicate results with stakeholders and collaborators, including data on stock and fulfillment
- Create and maintain a healthy team atmosphere to resolve issues positively and creatively
- Coach and develop team members to resolve operational issues and improve business processes as needed
- Actively address the team’s performance and co-create action plans to build skills, improve engagement as needed
- Design and develop routes in AX, monitor how product flows through the system and room while collecting analytics and bringing forward solutions for any observed challenges
- Connect and collaborate with demand planning, finance, IT, room managers and product development teams for cross functional project implementation and to ensure manufacturing needs are met
- Lead the team to execute strategies for process improvements of functional areas, including updating and implementing SOPs as required
- Train and support the manufacturing rooms on daily use of AX capacity planning as needed
Required:
- Current Lush employee
- 1+ years of experience as a Room Manager
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft AX
- Experience with inventory control and/or production planning
- Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated proficiency using with Google Sheets, Docs, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to reduce costs/improve efficiency through process improvement
- Excellent strategic thinking skill and the ability to conceptualize solutions to complex problems
- Flexible to work occasional overtime
- Time management and follow-up skills; highly organized and detail oriented
Preferred:
- Has held current role for a minimum of 1 year
- Experience in multiple Lush departments
- Experience leading formal training
- Formal experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement principles and programs
