Software Engineer Co-op (Ruby on the Rails)
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer Intern with experience in Ruby on Rails and React to help us build and enhance our financial advisor portal. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve Vestmark's financial advisor platform using Ruby on Rails on the backend and React on the frontend. Implement well-structured, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our core values: We Before Me, Positive Energy, Knowledge Explorer, and Own It
Required Skills:
- Majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Incoming college junior or senior (Class of 2026 or Class of 2027)
- Coding Experience with Ruby on Rails and React
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with MVC and related design patterns
- Experience with SQL and Relational Databases such as SQL Server or Postgres
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn in a distributed team environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
