
Channel Marketing Intern, Partner Field and Product Launch (Fall/September 2025, 8-12 Months)

Geotab is seeking a Strategic Channels Marketing Intern who will support the strategic partner channel at Geotab which includes partners such as Carriers, Fleet Management Companies and OEM’s. What you'll do:
As a Channel Marketing Intern your key area of responsibility will be supporting opportunities to sell Geotab through our partners. This could include project management, building presentations and tools to support and train the channel, managing events and event materials such as banners and promo items, and managing day to day marketing requests. You will also provide regular status reports to key partners to ensure activities are on time and meeting expectations). You will need to work closely with sales, marketing managers as well as Geotab’s internal marketing team and external vendors.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand the channels and how best to support them to drive sales. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.
The opportunity
- 8 - 12 month work-term beginning September 2025.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact
For the Channel Marketing Team, there are two positions open:
Channel Marketing Intern, Product Launch Support
- Determining adjustments and necessary materials for partners related to new product launches.
- Understanding product functionality and identifying its value.
- Coordinating video shoots, which includes briefing teams and creating brand videos for partner branding.
- Understanding "go-to-market" strategies.
- Working with agencies, including how to brief them and ensure effective delivery.
- Gaining exposure to understanding the target audience for new products and ensuring launch efforts are measurable.
Channel Marketing Intern, Partner Field Marketing
- Supporting partner-led events. This may involve collaboration with Geotab's events team.
- Ensuring partners represent and promote Geotab effectively at events (e.g., making sure they talk about Geotab when they are at events under the Geotab banner).
- Organizing and managing logistics for events such as roadshows where Geotab is leading and training partners on products.
- Expand the Geotab base within key partners with tools and content to support sales training and enablement
- Help the team stay on top of new materials and content available from other internal marketing teams to help drive partner sales
What you'll bring to the role
- Working towards a post-secondary diploma/degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce
- Previous experience working in an environment where you can demonstrate attention to detail, creativity, responsibility, and teamwork
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Technical competence using software programs, including Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Salesforce. Proficiency with Jira and AI/ Gemini are considered assets.
