Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Sales Development Intern who will be the first point of contact for new leads in the Brazilian market. You will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and qualifying them before passing them to our Partner Account Managers (PAMs) and Resellers. What you'll do:

As a Sales Development Intern your key area of responsibility will beo manage and qualify inbound leads to build a strong sales pipeline for the Geotab Brazil team. You will be provided with a company device and a Brazilian SIM card to connect with leads in Brazil from your location in Canada. You will need to work closely with your manager, the marketing team, and the sales team (PAMs and Resellers) to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will be a confident and articulate communicator, with a talent for building rapport quickly. You should be persistent, results-oriented, and highly organized, with strong listening skills to accurately identify customer needs. A keen attention to detail for daily reporting and tracking activities is essential. Being comfortable with making phone calls and communicating professionally in both English and Portuguese is a must for this role. It's an entry-level position, so while experience is a plus, a willingness to learn, a competitive spirit, and a positive attitude are what matter most.

The opportunity:

  • 12-month work-term beginning January 2026.
  • Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Act as the first point of contact for new inbound leads, providing a positive and professional introduction to Geotab.
  • Engage with potential customers in Brazil via phone, WhatsApp  and email to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Qualify leads against an established criteria to determine if they are a good fit for Geotab's solutions.
  • Schedule meetings and facilitate a smooth handover of qualified leads to the responsible Partner Account Manager or Reseller.
  • Maintain accurate records of all lead activity and communication in our CRM system.
  • Provide daily reports on call activity and lead status to your manager and the marketing team.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Currently completing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is an asset (written and spoken), Spanish a plus.
  • Experience performing data analytics and working with Spreadsheets/Excel and bringing insights out of the data as well as presenting those numbers and insights to the team.
  • A strong desire and keen interest in developing a career in technology sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and engaging phone presence in case cold calling for prospects is needed.
  • Resilient, goal-oriented, and not afraid to take initiative.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Prior internship or experience in a sales or customer-facing role is beneficial, but not mandatory.
