We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Research Operations Intern who will own the coordination of research initiatives that contribute to improving Geotab’s dynamic products and customer experiences. What you'll do:
We're looking for a Research Operations Intern to support our Product and Design teams by streamlining and improving their day-to-day workflow. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our research projects run smoothly and efficiently. You'll assist with a variety of tasks, from managing research tools and platforms to organizing data and helping with project logistics. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and has a strong interest in the operational side of research.
You will also support the following:
- Support participant recruitment and management: Help with screening and scheduling research participants, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Organize and maintain research data: Ensure data is accurately collected, stored, and easily accessible for the research team. This includes creating and maintaining organized file structures.
- Assist with project logistics: Help with scheduling meetings, coordinating with external vendors, and tracking project timelines.
- Manage research tools and platforms: Assist with the administration of research platforms (e.g., survey tools, participant management systems, data analysis software).
- Document and improve processes: Document existing workflows and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce administrative burden on researchers.
- Contribute to a positive team environment: Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with researchers and other stakeholders.
The opportunity:
- 8 - 12 month work-term beginning January 2026.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact:
- Play a key role in enabling fast, effective, and important research that will feed into the design of Geotab’s products.
- Help establish a foundation of research excellence across the organization.
- Support excellent customer experience and improved engagement with end users.
- Build scalable processes and systems that will support Geotab’s growth.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field such as Business, Research, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, or Data Science.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in common office and collaboration software (e.g., Google Workspace).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Prior experience with research or operations is a plus, but not required.
