Geotab is seeking a Product Management Operations Intern who will support data analysis, mastering key tools, leveraging consumer insights, performing product testing, and assisting with documentation, research. What you'll do:
As a Product Management Operations Intern your key area of responsibility will be assisting the Product Operations Manager to enhance product operations. This includes:
- Performing initial data analysis using tools such as Jira, Aha!, GetFeedback, and Walkme, contributing to research recruitment, and extracting valuable insights from customers' feedback and internal meetings.
- You will manage key product operations and research support activities, helping maintain current service levels while freeing the team to focus on strategic priorities.
- Support the development of a robust customer insights strategy by organizing, analyzing, and enabling the effective use of customer data across the Product team.
- Contribute to the advancement of Geotab’s AI application initiatives by supporting processes and insights that drive future product innovation.
- You'll also be involved in conducting UAT tests under the guidance of the product operations manager, gaining hands-on exposure to Geotab's product suite, features, and functionalities.
- You may be required to assist in documentation and other supportive tasks as required.
- You will need to work closely with several of Geotab's departments, including Product Management, Development, Marketing and others. This cross-functional collaboration will let you gain valuable insights and experience, playing a key role in facilitating effective product operations within Geotab.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Good communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and strong work ethic, passion for technology and innovation.
- In addition, the successful candidate will have familiarity with the principles of supply chain management, knowledge of business strategies, and understanding of market trends is desirable.
- Attention to detail is critical to ensure research processes, data, and insights are accurate and reliable.
The opportunity:
- 12 months work-term length beginning May, 2026.
- Full-time, paid internship (Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week)

- Consumer Insights: By participating in customer meetings and analyzing product feedback, this role helps articulate user needs and preferences, directing product enhancements and innovation.
- Product Testing: Executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) provides an opportunity to identify and rectify product issues before market release, thereby enhancing user satisfaction and product quality.
- Documentation Support: Assistance in creating and managing documentation ensures critical information is accurately recorded and readily accessible. This can ensure smooth communication and operations across the product management team.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ongoing studies in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related disciplines.
- You have attention to detail and can sweat the small details while seeing the big picture.
- You have excellent calendar and task management skills, including coordination of meetings.
- You have excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills (including tact and diplomacy) to deal effectively with internal/external contacts.
- You have a proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- You love storytelling and have strong clarity of communication.

How we work:
This role offers an hourly pay range which is anticipated to be the range listed below. The actual pay for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to student's academic program, relevant experience, and location. Geotab is committed to fair and equitable compensation and will share final details as part of the offer process. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work for the duration of the internship and the individual's ability to pass a background check.
Hourly Rate
$20 - $27 CAD
