About us

We're an independent European digital product studio with a strong track record of delivering market-defining strategies and products for enterprises and governments. With about 200 talented people across three countries, premium AI capabilities and a diverse portfolio of international clients, we define, design and ship high-quality digital products, strategies and software. From global cloud-based platforms and large-scale apps to medical devices, banking software and augmented reality experiences. In a nutshell: if it lives and breathes digital, it’s what we do best.

Become a part of our team

At In The Pocket, you join a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, strategists and data specialists who care about the work as much as the people they work with. We work in small, autonomous teams that stay close to our clients and their users, and we give everyone the space to take ownership, speak up and grow. You’ll learn from colleagues across our studios, ship products that reach thousands or even millions of people and help shape what digital can do for leading organisations in Europe.

What you’ll do

As a Product Manager at In The Pocket, you will work in a cross-functional product team with a crystal-clear mission: create digital products that make people happy and businesses grow.

Product thinking

  • You are developing the tools & reflexes that allow you to build products, independently from technology or platform. You can identify platform-specific opportunities and risks and understand how they might impact the product strategy.
  • You understand the fundamentals of building great products, both from a design and a technical perspective.
  • You have a strong interest in AI and understand how AI technologies can enhance products and create value. You're able to identify opportunities where AI can improve user experience, automate processes, or unlock new business models. You stay current with AI trends and can translate their potential into actionable product initiatives.

Product Strategy & Definition

  • You work closely with the team to understand, refine and articulate the product challenge(s) we're trying to solve. You facilitate the exploration of multiple solutions to these challenges and help the team choose the best trade-off between business, user and technology. You understand the client's long-term business strategy and can incorporate this.
  • You prioritize the ideas into a roadmap together with the client and your team.
  • You ensure the product vision and strategy are understood and shared by your entire team and all stakeholders.
  • You explore how AI and emerging technologies can be integrated into the product strategy to deliver innovative solutions.

Product Delivery

  • You can facilitate the entire refinement process of a low- to medium complexity product (e.g. a one-platform product, limited external dependencies, smaller to medium-sized team, mature or emerging technology). You ensure product requirements are clear and ready to implement in a timely manner.
  • You ensure there is a continued & shared understanding of priorities and trade-offs. You take ownership of ensuring we don't just shape quality products, but also ship them.

Insight-driven

  • You identify, track and analyze key product success metrics.
  • You conduct user research activities and report findings to a diverse audience in a clear and qualitative way.
  • You use data and user insights to validate assumptions, especially when exploring AI-driven features or new product directions.

People & Collaboration

  • You are a natural collaborator and team player. You build strong relationships with designers, developers, and stakeholders, creating an environment of trust and open communication.
  • You excel at bringing people together around a shared vision. You listen actively, show empathy, and know how to motivate your team to do their best work.
  • You handle conflict constructively and can navigate different opinions to find solutions that work for everyone.
  • You're comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and you help create a culture of continuous improvement within your team.

Who you are

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, working on digital products (mobile, web, SaaS, or AI-powered applications).
  • You have essential knowledge of AI and its applications in digital products. You understand how tools like ChatGPT, machine learning models, intelligent automation, or AI-powered features can transform user experiences. You're excited to explore and integrate AI capabilities into your products.
