InvestorHub is an Australian tech startup founded by passionate leaders with deep experience in product, technology, and financial markets. We are supported by some of the Australia’s most successful VC’s (including EVP) and have been earmarked as a future unicorn by Launch Victoria.

Our London office opened in late 2023 and has been growing consistently since. We are in the UK because we fundamentally believe that we can help the market by bringing investors and companies closer together. What do we do? We're solving the biggest problem facing capital markets in the 21st century: the rapidly-changing landscape of investing. Individual (aka "retail") investors are increasingly becoming the lifeblood of capital markets. But most public companies and their IR teams don't have the know-how, tools, or time to effectively engage with current and prospective retail investors. InvestorHub is an all-in-one solution that empowers companies to build a direct relationship with their investors.

The Role

  • We are looking for an Account Executive that has previously worked in the B2B space (or public markets), owned the complete sales cycle, and is excited to become a key part of building our Sales function. You would be joining a small, close-knit team that is searching for a valued team member to bring their own touch to the role.
  • You are an exceptional sales person who prides themselves on providing world class solutions to their clients, while providing an experience that few forget. You are tenacious and reliable with a proven track record in sourcing leads and converting them into sales.
  • As we break into a new market, we are looking for someone who is happy to move fast and get involved in lots of different parts of the business. This includes establishing and strengthen partnerships, attending community and industry events, and being the face of the business with our clients, service providers and the wider market.

 


About You

  • Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience, experience pitching to C-level executives and/or working with public companies is highly desirable.
  • Keen knowledge of capital markets; interested in market dynamics and what makes companies grow.
  • Genuine interest in people and building relationships.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Happy to be in an office-first environment; we are in 5 days a week at our Farringdon office. 

 


The Journey

Within 3 months

  • Get up to speed on the current product, business and sales strategies;
  • Become familiar with the capital markets space to gain a deeper understanding of what our clients needs are and the challenges they face;
  • Empathise with the challenge of being a leader in listed markets by attending our Community events;
  • Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to close.

Within 6 months

  • Upsell and cross-sell to new and existing clients;
  • Work cross-functionally with our teams. In particular, using your insight into our customers and market to assist with product development;
  • Contribute to the strategy for the Sales team and begin defining new processes and best practices;
  • Complete ramp up period.

Long term

  • Stay abreast of sales trends, market changes and challenges our customers face to continue to be a source of authority to our clients;
  • InvestorHub invests in its people. As you grow with us, you will get the opportunity to shape your own path and interests within the company (e.g. partnerships, events, leadership etc.).
