Overview

Cell Therapy Navigator will be responsible for ensuring superior customer experience supporting a first in class launch of AMTAGVI, an innovative cell therapy for metastatic melanoma.  The role will report to the Director, Strategic Accounts.

The Community Cell Therapy Navigator is a strategic, field-based role responsible for overseeing regional implementation of community-based education initiatives, patient navigation optimization, and metrics to drive awareness and access for AMTAGVI.

This team member will help with early patient identification, appropriate referrals, and patient readiness for advanced therapies, such as TIL.  The role combines nursing experience, sales experience, patient and programmatic coordination, and bridges educational outreach. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Guides local adoption of best practices related to diagnosis, referral, and treatment readiness for AMTAGVI.
  • Serve as a liaison between community oncology practices and internal stakeholders to align initiatives with business and medical objectives.
  • Integral member of the cross-functional team, coordinating “warm-transfer” of patients from the community setting to the ATC.
  • Delivers disease-state, referral pathway, and therapy-readiness education to HCPs, office staff, and nurse navigators across large community practices and affiliated networks.
  • Serve as assigned mentor and leader to other Iovance Nurse Navigators and community educators.
  • Collaborates with Strategic Accounts to provide oversight and guidance on day-to-day tactics and interactions with the Community focused field force
  • Participate in cross functional planning efforts with commercial, market access and medical affairs for customer interactions at key global congresses and meetings to support one master plan for customer engagement.
  • Develop exceptional knowledge in the melanoma disease state, market landscape, AMTAGVI clinical data, and community networks
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as with US/global healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Travel – 60%

 Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge

  • RN, BSN, or advanced healthcare degree; Oncology Nurse Navigation or Program Coordination background preferred
  • 5+ years in oncology or complex care navigation or community engagement
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and referral dynamics
  • Proven ability to educate and influence both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
  • Demonstrates professional maturity and flexibility
