
Director of HR Operations

The Director of HR Operations is responsible for all benefits administration across the enterprise as well as managing all reporting and compliance requirements. The Director also serves as the HRIS lead, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the management of our HRIS (BambooHR), supporting ongoing integrations with our ERP (CMIC), and strategizing our reporting capabilities.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS |
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or other related field (or equivalent experience).
- No certifications required; industry certificates preferred

- Total Rewards
- Benefits – Responsible for the annual review, marketing, and year-round administration of benefit plans. Negotiate competitive rates with vendors for top-tier benefit solutions to maintain competitive offerings for a wide variety of interests. Set the example for world class service by educating employees about their options with clear communication and accessible explanations. Ensure 401(k), Voluntary Benefit programs, and wellness initiatives are competitive and managed effectively. Follow annual filing and compliance requirements for all benefits plans including but not limited to ACA, NDT, PCORI, and 5500 requirements.
- Compensation – Work to create innovative compensation solutions through analysis of internal and external market data that align to the overall business strategy and drive business results. Conduct due diligence assessments of compensation and rewards initiatives, along with integration of compensation programs from acquired entities. Analyze market trends, design concepts, and benchmark company Total Rewards packages to identify streamlining opportunities and cost/value improvements. Perform semi-annual reviews to ensure equity and alignment to business objectives.
- Employee Life – Support the organization through engagement initiatives and the creation of policies. Maintenance of employee handbooks. Ensure company policies support culture and business needs while staying up to date on new and upcoming compliance requirements.
- Leaves of Absence and Accommodations – Oversee and guide employees and leaders through leaves of absence programs including FMLA, NY PFL, NY STD, and ADA accommodation programs.
- Leadership
- Lead by example and provide consultation on matters of employee performance and conduct.
- Build trust with a diverse array of people to sustain relationships with company leadership and individual contributors alike. Utilize these connections to understand the needs of the organization, learn the business, and provide meaningful solutions.
- Partner with other business functions (including but not limited to Finance, Payroll, and IT) to enable the success of all programs.
- Ensure strong partnerships with third-party service vendors and develop work plans for every project. Leverage these relationships for added value to employee lives.
- Project management of department initiatives, overseeing planning, progress, execution, communication, and change management. Create user guides and process flows to assist in quick and smooth adaptation of new systems and maintain organizational integrity.
- Employee Relations
- Develop and implement employee relations policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ensure consistent execution of performance management, disciplinary, grievance, and investigatory matters.
- Mediate disputes between employees, and between employees and their managers.
- Collaborates effectively with legal counsel and CHRO to ensure compliance and alignment with policies and practices.
- Immigration
- Liaison between the employer, employee, and Immigration attorney to ensure all cases are processed and filed timely and accurately.
- First point of contact for questions or concerns from senior leadership and employees.
- HRIS and Data Analytics
- Optimize and maintain reliable systems for employee facing services such as onboarding, time off administration, benefits enrollment, and more.
- Provide added value to support business decisions with data and analysis, cost estimates, and ROI for all proposed projects. Utilize data to show metrics of success and effectiveness.
- Oversee accurate input of data and auditing processes to ensure and maintain the integrity of the systems.
- Utilize working technical knowledge of HRIS and integration to partner with IT and pursue projects that drive efficiency and accuracy of data.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION |
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a growth company.
- Deep working knowledge of base and variable pay programs, equity and executive compensation (preferred) and a thorough knowledge of labor laws.
- Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and juggle changing priorities with multiple stakeholders.
- Customer driven - must be responsive to employee concerns and questions.
- Outstanding communication skills and presentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to take a hands-on approach with a lean HR team.
- Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented while focusing on the big picture.
- Strong identification with the Company’s mission and values and our commitment to the people we serve and the services we provide.

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $170,000 USD
