IronMountain Solutions LLC is currently seeking a Non-Army Rotary Wing Project Lead to support our customer in Huntsville, Alabama on Redstone Arsenal. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s, with 12+ years of relevant work experience. Candidates who apply should have strong oral and written communication skills, and can work effectively with others, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously. An active and transferrable DoD Secret level security clearance is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and technical leadership in the completion of multiple contracts, including responsibility for cost, schedule, risks, and overall performance
- Monitor fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables to various Non-Army Rotary Wing customers
- Conduct the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel
- Provide project expertise for dynamic components, avionics, usage, understating fleet management practices, unique usage spectrums for test aircraft, and historical reference of the CH-53, MH-60, HH-60, AH-1, and UH-1
- Develop project management products, such as resource loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) with critical path analysis
- Lead collaborative efforts to develop Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs), such as Request for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data, Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Document Summary Lists (DSLs), Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Support Obsolescence activities to include forecasting long-time buys and alternate part procurements to extend component life.
- Provide overall direction and coordination of a multi-disciplined, functional Integrated Product Team (IPT), consisting of Government and OEM contractor personnel
- Use technical knowledge and experience with rotary wing aircraft to assist in making sound engineering design decisions
- Prepare and/or briefing presentations, training materials, white papers, etc.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Education and General Experience:
- BS degree preferred with 12+ years’ relevant work experience
- Project Lead/Program Management experience
- Operational experience and/or knowledge of CH-53, MH-60, HH-60, AH-1, UH-1, or other non-Army rotary wing aviation platforms preferred.
- Must have the ability to adapt to program changes based on design / acquisition / schedule / cost requirements
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and pay close attention to detail
Clearance Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
