IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support a Department of the Air Force production effort in Huntsville, Alabama. This role will lead and coordinate logistics-related activities across the contract, with emphasis on reliability and maintainability (R&M), Government property accountability, integrated logistics support (ILS), provisioning, and broader product support analysis. The Logistics Analyst will work alongside engineering, quality, configuration management, manufacturing, supplier teams, and the customer to ensure logistics data, supportability planning, and property controls remain aligned to contract requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports all contract logistics activities, including integrated logistics support planning, provisioning, product support analysis, Government property coordination, and reliability and maintainability related tasks.
- Develops, reviews, revises, and maintains logistics data, provisioning inputs, and product support documentation for new, modified, refurbished, or production hardware.
- Coordinates with engineering, configuration management, manufacturing, and quality teams to evaluate design changes, ECPs, variances, and process changes for logistics, supportability, provisioning, and property impacts.
- Reviews, evaluates, accepts, and/or rejects provisioning data, supportability data, and related contractor or OEM submissions for adequacy, completeness, and technical accuracy.
- Provides product support analysis to determine maintenance impacts, sparing implications, provisioning requirements, and long-term support considerations associated with fielded or newly produced systems.
- Assists in the development, maintenance, and execution of integrated logistics support plans, provisioning packages, logistics product data, and engineering data for provisioning as required by contract deliverables.
- Supports property management activities, including accountability, inventory reconciliation, receiving, storage, movement, and coordination of Government Furnished Property in accordance with contractual and company requirements.
- Interfaces with customer representatives, subcontractors, OEMs, and internal functional teams to resolve logistics issues, support provisioning conferences or reviews, and improve supply availability and product support outcomes.
- Analyzes technical documentation and source data to identify supportability concerns, interchangeability and substitutability issues, obsolescence considerations, and downstream supply impacts.
- Supports fact finding, technical evaluations, integrated product teams, and logistics-related reviews by validating assumptions, reviewing documentation, and providing written and verbal input to leadership and customers.
- Tracks action items, deliverables, and logistics-related risks, and provides timely status updates, recommendations, and corrective actions as needed.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Competencies and Abilities
- Acquisition logistics, sustainment logistics, and/or product support analysis experience supporting aviation, defense, or major weapon system programs.
- Working knowledge of integrated logistics support principles, provisioning concepts, reliability and maintainability considerations, and Government property accountability practices.
- Ability to review and analyze technical data received from engineering organizations, OEMs, vendors, and subcontractors for logistics and provisioning applicability.
- Ability to evaluate engineering or configuration changes for supportability, provisioning, maintenance, and supply impact.
- Experience supporting or coordinating logistics data, provisioning packages, logistics product data, or related contract deliverables.
- Ability to interface professionally with customers, subcontractors, and internal cross-functional teams and to represent the program effectively in meetings and reviews.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief and converse with all levels of leadership.
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Integrated Logistics Support Plans, provisioning data development, logistics product data, or engineering data for provisioning.
- Experience with Government property management, inventory control, or support equipment accountability on a defense program.
- Background in product support analysis, maintenance planning, technical manual support, or supply support analysis.
- Familiarity with reliability and maintainability concepts and how they affect sustainment planning and supportability decisions.
- Ability to comprehend engineering technical data, bills of material, drawings, and configuration documentation.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and operate effectively in a team environment.
- Self-starter who is organized, detail oriented, a problem solver, and an effective communicator.
Education and General Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of relevant work experience; additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Eight years of relevant experience in lieu of degree may include acquisition logistics, sustainment logistics, provisioning, integrated logistics support, product support analysis, property management, or defense program support.
Security Clearance Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
