Position Overview:

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor with ISC, you will be responsible for using data analytics to help businesses uncover valuable insights within their financials, identify opportunities for improvements to operational efficiency, process improvement, and accounting concepts.

This role will report into our Carlsbad, CA office on a hybrid basis, therefore, this person must reside in the Carlsbad/San Diego area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month end close process
  • Supervise Accounts Payable Specialist
  • Manage Accounts Payable inbox
  • Review journal entries for accuracy
  • Post monthly vendor accruals
  • Responsible for making time sensitive tax and loan payments
  • Pay and post international vendors
  • Owner of our vendor payable system, Bill.Com; tasks would include closing the period, running reports, reconciling the clearing account, setting up new vendors, resolving issues, and reviewing expense coding entered by the Accounts Payable Specialist
  • Owner of Concur, including setting up new employees, answering questions, ensuring reimbursements are processed timely, reviewing accurate expense coding for journal entries
  • Responsible for all company credit cards, including timely payment, reconciling statements, collecting invoices, ensuring proper purchase request procedure is followed, posting journal entries, and any correspondence with the bank
  • Reconcile and post monthly health insurance allocations to multiple Business Units and Departments
  • Issue annual 1099s
  • Assist in annual financial audit

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required; or two-three years related experience and/or training
  • Minimum of two-year experience in Accounting
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Bill.com, Concur, and Bank of America’s Cash Pro, a plus
  • GAAP knowledge

Role Progression:  This role may progress to an Accounts Payable Senior Supervisor.

The starting annual pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.

ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

National Pay Range

$72,000 - $80,000 USD
