Job Summary

Working with the existing team at EventHelper.com and ISC (Integrated Specialty Coverages), the Partner Relationship Specialist will focus on supporting and protecting the special event industry by establishing partnerships and expanding relationships within our community. This position will work closely with our Growth and Development Department and the rest of our leadership team to develop and follow-up on high-quality leads from outbound communication strategies as well as warm inbound calls. In this role you will work with venues and other strategic partners to educate them on the benefits of requiring special event insurance and why EventHelper.com is the best solution. You will also collaborate with Underwriting and our Customer Service team to ensure a smooth customer and partner experience. In addition to the base hourly rate, this role comes with a monthly bonus component based on your individual performance. Should you meet your performance metrics, the total annual compensation is expected to reach $95K year one and $130K by year three. This role reports into our Grass Valley, CA office.

Position Responsibilities

  • Recruit, maintain and oversee our referral relationships with venues and other strategic partners
  • Advise the leadership team on all policy and claim-related concerns voiced by venues
  • Develop, implement, and oversee programs and procedures to ensure venues receive the highest level of service they expect from us
  • Research, plan for, and attend different trade shows/conventions.
  • Determine additional strategies for acquisition and what venues or industry partners to target
  • Develop, evaluate and re-invent ways to accomplish partner outreach and how to best onboard new venues
  • Track, monitor, and report key metrics to the leadership team
  • Support partner policies and requested changes
  • Serve as a backup to our CSS team when phone volume and staffing levels require it
  • Complete special projects as assigned by management and perform other duties as requested
  • Report onsite in our Grass Valley, CA office, Monday-Friday 8-5 PST
  • Attend tradeshows on an as need basis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ previous sales and/or marketing experience
  • Experience in the commercial insurance industry preferred but not required
  • A background in public speaking and/or comfort addressing a crowd is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct yourself with a high level of integrity in all internal and externally facing interactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, and aptitude to navigate software quickly and easily.
  • Bi-lingual (English + Spanish) is a plus
  • Must be able to work out of our Grass Valley, CA office Monday-Friday 8-5 PST
  • Ability to attend west coast tradeshows as needed

 

 

The starting hourly pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.

ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

National Pay Range

$24.04 - $27.50 USD
