itD is seeking an Field Marketing Manager with Event Management to lead the final planning and execution of large-scale, enterprise-level events, ensuring seamless delivery and high-impact experiences for global audiences. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence across key client engagements, with direct influence on event success through coordination, stakeholder alignment, and onsite execution.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in enterprise marketing and program management with event management and proven track record of executing large-scale conferences, trade shows, and marketing events with measurable outcomes.

The role is 100% remote. This is a W2 opportunity with itD and contracted at a Fortune 500 client in Silicon Valley. The individual selected will be instrumental in helping us continue to deliver excellence to our base of leading global accounts.

What You’ll Do 

As the Networking Field Marketing & Programs Manager, you will be critical in leading and managing the strategy, planning, and execution of key event workstreams for Networking Product Launch events. You will support building a global framework and oversee the coordination and execution of all aspects of the AMER events. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for attendees, analysts, and executives. 

Strategic Event Planning & Execution 

Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales goals. 

Own the entire event lifecycle, including planning, logistics, execution, and post-event analysis to measure success and drive future improvements. 

Oversee the creation and development of AMER Networking events, sponsorships, and marketing activations, ensuring impactful brand presence. 

Manage event staffing, coordinate speakers, and implement audience engagement strategies to ensure a memorable experience for all attendees. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership 

Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams & external vendors. 

Collaborate with key Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive stakeholders to ensure event objectives align with business goals. 

Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of event planning, from pre-event preparation to execution and post-event follow-up, ensuring successful outcomes and alignment with key business objectives. 

Operational & Budget Management 

Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-efficiency and maximum ROI. 

Oversee logistics for venue selection, run of show/attendee experience, travel coordination, and on-site execution. 

During all phases of event execution, ensure compliance with industry best practices, risk management protocols, and company standards. 

Performance Measurement & Optimization 

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to evaluate event effectiveness and its contribution to business growth. 

Conduct post-event reporting, including attendee feedback analysis, pipeline contribution analysis, and actionable recommendations for improving future events. 

Drive continuous innovation in event experiences, identifying new opportunities to enhance engagement and maximize ROI. 

Attendee Journey Support (Experiential Activations/Swag/Signage/Entertainment/Evening Events) 

Coordinating experiential activations and special events (e.g., opening keynote performer, AI photobooth, celebrity chef experiences etc.). 

Ensure the attendee journey is cohesive, from event swag to unique activations and entertainment experiences. 

Partner with the creative marketing team to develop event signage, swag, and other creative assets. 

Oversee the distribution of event swag, working with agencies and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. 

Manage event staff uniform coordination and distribution, ensuring all details are executed to plan. 

General Responsibilities: 

• Event Project Management: 

• Take ownership of daily project operations, ensuring each workstream stays on track with timelines, budgets, and reporting. 

• Lead weekly status meetings with event workstream leads to provide updates, resolve issues, and keep progress on schedule. 

Contribute to developing the overall event production schedule, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders. 

Oversee all workstream timelines, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met. 

• Collaboration & Communication: 

Prepare and maintain the WebexOne master deck to communicate plans, schedules, and updates across all workstreams. 

• Facilitate collaboration between event teams, ensuring that all technical and non-technical teams are aligned. 

Act as the point of contact for all workstream leads, resolving roadblocks and ensuring smooth execution of plans. 

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 

7-10 years of experience in event management, particularly for large-scale, in-person corporate events, with an exclusive experience component (preferably in the technology sector). 

Proven track record of planning and executing experiential activations, corporate receptions, special events, and large conferences for 200 - 500 attendees. 

Ability to travel for 3-4 days aligned to dates of the events 

Strong project management skills, including managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously. 

Exceptional organizational and logistical skills, with a keen attention to detail. 

Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing and guiding cross-functional teams. 

Strong ability to manage high-pressure situations and deliver on tight deadlines. 

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, vendors, and key stakeholders. 

Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and project management tools. 

Familiarity with Webex collaboration tools is a plus. 

Self-motivated, with a “Do What It Takes” attitude and strong leadership capabilities to drive teams toward successful outcomes 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Texas and/or Austin, TX applicants (Webex One event located in Austin, TX)
  • Previous tech experience: Cisco, Meta, Google, Apple, Microsoft
  • Product Marketing
