Senior Financial Analyst (6343)

itD is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support technology finance, financial governance, budget planning, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis, with a track record of delivering actionable financial insights and supporting effective financial governance.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial review processes.
  • Conduct monthly CapEx forecast reviews and partner with technology stakeholders to assess financial performance.
  • Analyze actual spend against budget and forecast, identifying key risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations to support decision-making.
  • Monitor CapEx and OpEx spending, project budgets, and resource utilization.
  • Support financial governance activities, including funding approvals, purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking.
  • Develop financial models and perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting.

Internal Responsibilities:

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting Technology, Digital, or IT organizations.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience working with financial systems and reporting platforms.
  • Experience supporting technology finance, CapEx/OpEx management, or financial governance initiatives.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
