Technical Program Manager IV

itD is seeking a Technical Program Manager IV to drive finance transformation initiatives and manage complex, cross-functional programs supporting Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Treasury. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in finance and accounting analysis, strategic program management, and technology-enabled business transformation, with a proven track record of advancing critical workstreams, coordinating senior stakeholders, and delivering results in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.

Location: Hybrid — Menlo Park, CA (MPK)

Pay Rate: $48.60/hr Depends on Experience

Duration:7 Months

Responsibilities

  • Lead finance transformation initiatives across Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and related cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and program milestones.
  • Manage established project workstreams, including scope definition, requirements gathering, schedule development, progress tracking, and delivery coordination.
  • Coordinate with business partners, technical teams, and senior stakeholders to communicate priorities, resolve complex issues, and maintain alignment across interdependent projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, risk assessments, contingency plans, and decision-support materials to support timely execution and informed decision-making.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and shifting timelines, proactively identifying blockers and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Apply finance and accounting analysis to support decision-making, evaluate project impacts, and help drive business and technology solutions.
  • Drive execution in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment by confirming requirements, documenting decisions, following up on outstanding actions, and keeping workstreams on track.

Internal Responsibilities

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material, including blogs and media material.
  • Build material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events, both in person and virtually.
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 10+ years of professional experience in program management, project management, finance, accounting, or closely related fields.
  • Demonstrated finance or accounting background focused on analysis and decision support, rather than primarily transactional or operational activities.
  • Strong project and program management experience, including planning, scheduling, tracking, risk management, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Experience managing complex projects with interdependencies, competing priorities, and fluid or shifting timelines.
  • Experience coordinating stakeholders across business and technical teams in large, complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risks, resolve issues, manage dependencies, and adapt execution plans as priorities change.
  • Experience delivering technology-enabled business solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and its application to program and project delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science or computer engineering, or in finance/corporate development.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other PMI certification.
  • Proficiency with AI-powered tools to support program execution, analysis, and productivity.
  • Experience using Google Workspace (G Suite) and virtual data rooms.
  • Experience supporting finance transformation initiatives involving Accounting, FP&A, Treasury processes, or financial systems.
  • Previous experience working at Meta.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach, strong sense of urgency, and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science or computer engineering, or in finance/corporate development, required.

An MBA and PMP/PMI certification are preferred.
