What You Will Do
The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data and customer insights to inform product marketing strategies at iTel Networks. This individual will work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that decisions are based on sound research and market intelligence. The successful candidate will use their analytical skills to support go-to-market efforts and optimize the performance of iTel’s product portfolio and corresponding marketing campaigns.
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, industry shifts, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges for iTel’s product portfolio.
- Perform competitive analysis to benchmark iTel’s products against key competitors, providing insights into product pricing, positioning and differentiation strategies.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback, surveys, and behavior data to understand customer needs, pain points, and preferences, across verticals.
- Develop detailed buyer personas and customer segments to guide targeted marketing efforts and product enhancements and positioning.
- Present actionable insights on customer trends and product performance to product management and marketing teams.
- Leverage market and customer insights to support the development of product positioning and messaging strategies for iTel’s product suite audiences.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure product features and value propositions align with customer needs and market demands.
- Build a regular cadence of training opportunities for the Sales teams across each vertical.
- Work with marketing, sales and product teams to provide insights that shape go-to-market (GTM) strategies, ensuring the right market segments are targeted with the appropriate messaging.
- Track and Collaborate with campaign managers to analyze the performance of product marketing campaigns, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and return on investment (ROI).
- Provide recommendations to optimize future campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Evaluate the success of product launches and GTM efforts through data analysis and performance metrics.
- Use predictive analytics to anticipate market trends, customer behavior, and product performance, helping to guide future product development and marketing strategies.
- Provide forecasting models to support business planning and product roadmaps.
- Regularly present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring insights are translated into actionable business strategies.
- Create comprehensive reports that highlight key market trends, customer insights, and the impact of marketing initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, market research, or data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in market research methodologies, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights for marketing and product development.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel) and familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong communication story-telling skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver insights in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the telecom or technology industry.
- Familiarity with predictive analytics, forecasting models, and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of B2B product marketing and understanding of digital marketing metrics.
