As a Senior Clinical Research Specialist at Iterative Health play a key role in integrating Iterative Health’s services and AI-powered solutions into customer clinical research sites. Leveraging your hands-on clinical research experience and deep understanding of site operations, you will assess site workflows, identify opportunities for operational improvement, and deliver tailored training and support that promote research best practices, accelerate clinical trial execution, and drive adoption of Iterative Health’s services and technology.

You will serve as a trusted partner and subject matter expert to customer sites, helping teams optimize research operations, improve clinical trial efficiency, and achieve their study goals. Working cross-functionally with teams across Iterative Health, you will translate customer feedback and site-level insights into actionable improvements that strengthen the customer experience and advance our mission to transform clinical research.

Where You’ll Drive Impact 

Customer Partnership & Site Optimization

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer clinical research sites, serving as a trusted advisor on clinical research operations, workflow optimization, and the effective use of Iterative Health’s services and AI-powered solutions.
  • Assess site operations, identify workflow inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices that support trial execution, patient recruitment, and data quality.
  • Partner with site teams to drive adoption of Iterative Health’s services and technology, helping customers achieve their clinical research objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the use of Iterative Health’s services and solutions based on customer needs, site performance, and evolving research requirements.

Clinical Research Expertise & Training

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical research workflows, including how Iterative Health’s services and AI solutions integrate into existing site operations.
  • Develop and deliver tailored training for clinical research coordinators, investigators, and other site personnel to support effective adoption, user competency, and consistent execution of research processes.
  • Create and implement process maps, standard workflows, job aids, and other resources that help customer sites incorporate Iterative Health’s services and technology into their daily operations.
  • Reinforce clinical research best practices and applicable study protocols, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures.

Site Activation & Study Execution

  • Travel to customer sites to support study activation, operational readiness, and the integration of Iterative Health’s services and technology into clinical trial workflows.
  • Partner with site teams to support patient identification and screening activities, helping sites improve recruitment processes and maintain study enrollment momentum.
  • Provide on-site support during critical study activities, including randomization, as needed.
  • Identify and address operational barriers that may affect site readiness, patient recruitment, study execution, or the effective use of Iterative Health’s solutions.

Customer Insights & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Gather, analyze, and communicate customer feedback, site-level successes, product adoption challenges, and training or competency gaps.
  • Collaborate with Product, Clinical Research Services, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to translate customer insights into actionable solutions and process improvements.
  • Help identify trends across customer sites and recommend scalable approaches to improve implementation, adoption, and the overall customer experience.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned to support continuous improvement across the broader customer network.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 30% of the time.

What You Bring to the Team 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
  • Hands-on experience supporting Phase II–IV pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials, including study start-up, confidentiality agreements (CDAs), feasibility assessments, regulatory documentation, SOPs, study protocols, and applicable clinical research regulations.
  • Experience coordinating clinical trial participants throughout the research process, including patient screening, enrollment, study visits, and ongoing participation.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research site operations, workflows, and the operational challenges associated with conducting clinical trials.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to train diverse audiences and work effectively with customer-facing teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business and customer needs.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and working independently in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Interest in adopting new technologies and helping clinical research teams integrate AI-powered solutions into their workflows.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 30% of the time.
