Regional Business Director, Central
Reporting to: Head of Sales
About This Role:
ITF Therapeutics is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Business Director to lead a team of Key Account Managers to continue the successful launch driving sustained adoption of an approved treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This pivotal role blends leadership, strategic account management, and rare disease expertise to lead a team who delivers meaningful impact across institutional & community settings. The RBD will be responsible for regional sales performance, team development, and execution of business strategies aligned with corporate goals. This role will be remote.
What You’ll Do:
- Recruit, hire, coach, mentor, and develop Key Account Managers to elevate performance and drive results.
- Lead and coordinate in-field sales activities, including frequent travel to engage, coach, and motivate the team, to achieve specialty targets and maximize territory performance.
- Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable through regular coaching, performance reviews, and documented follow-up; address performance issues promptly through direct, constructive conversations and formal documentation as needed.
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies for regional and territory growth.
- Ensure team compliance with promotional guidelines, budgets, and regulatory policies.
- Maintain technical expertise to support customer and team inquiries.
- Participate in and lead training, meetings, and development programs.

Who you Are:
You are a seasoned pharmaceutical sales leader with a decade of industry experience, including a strong background in institutional sales and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. With deep knowledge of regulatory guidelines and a passion for rare diseases, you thrive in dynamic environments and are energized by building teams, launching innovative therapies, and driving regional success.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including institutional sales
- 5 years of experience leading a pharmaceutical sales team with a proven track record of regional success
- Rare disease experience
- Strong knowledge of legal and pharmaceutical guidelines
- Ability to travel extensively within and external to assigned Area; some nights, weekends and overnight travel may be required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience launching products in start-up or high-growth environments
- Neuromuscular sales experience
Additional Information:
The base compensation range for this role is: $230,000.00-$270,000.00. Compensation is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
