ABOUT THE POSITION
The senior content writer will write, develop, edit, and publish compelling content for a variety of digital platforms, including email marketing campaigns, lead generation campaigns, websites, blogs, videos, press releases, advertising campaigns, social media posts, infographics, case studies, whitepapers, and more. To accomplish this, the senior content writer will manage a content calendar, interview key stake holders, provide direction to freelance writers, conduct detailed research, become an expert in industry topics and a champion of the ITS voice.
This position will be integral in helping ITS continue to build our brand nationally by delivering powerful messaging to our key audiences and driving results that support the companies overarching goals.
- · Write clear long-form and short-form marketing copy as a creative storyteller within the brand standards
- Research industry-related topics
- Produce, proofread, edit, and publish digital content
- Manage a content calendar
- Provide direction to freelance writers
- Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics
- Prepare well-structured drafts using CMS and HubSpot
- Interview and work directly with leadership and upper management to write in their voice for their personal brands
- Coordinate with teams across the company on additional marketing needs
- Ensure all around consistency and quality
- Update website and other marketing and sales materials as needed
- Meet deadlines and monthly goal objectives in congruence with the rest of the marketing team
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
· 5 – 10 years of experience as a content writer or similar role
· Bachelors in marketing, business, journalism, or related field
· Portfolio of published work
· Experience writing press releases for various national publications
· Experience doing research using multiple sources
· Excellent writing and editing skills in English
· Hands-on experience with CMS (Sanity, HubSpot, etc.)
· Ability to incorporate SEO best practices and guidelines
· Ability to handle multiple jobs at once and meet deadlines
· Confidence to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
· Reporting and paid ad media experience
· Organizational skills to juggle multiple projects across several divisions
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
· Marketing experience in both B2B and B2C space
· Familiarity or experience within the supply chain industry
· HubSpot experience
· Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
· Experience with video and audio copywriting experience.
