About the Position
We are looking for a high energy individual to join our rapidly growing organization. The Senior Account Executive - Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) has an opportunity to build a successful career in the trillion-dollar supply chain and logistics industry. We invest deeply in our new hires by providing up to 2 weeks of paid training to prepare them for their important role as a member of our team. We are seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive with expertise in Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) logistics to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will focus on cultivating relationships and driving revenue growth through LTL services while having the unique opportunity to sell our entire suite of logistics solutions, including truckload, warehousing, and supply chain services. This position reports to Vice President – Final Mile. We are looking for a solid player with succession capabilities beyond this role; one with the capacity to engage teams and build followership.
Principle Accountabilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities to grow LTL revenue in your local market and across the U.S.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic accounts, leveraging your network to generate inbound/outbound opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored LTL solutions.
- Actively explore and develop relationships in diverse regions, ensuring a broad and impactful market presence.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Proactively identify and introduce additional logistics services, including full truckload, warehousing, supply chain management, and freight brokerage.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions and client satisfaction.
About The Requirements
- Proven track record of success in outside sales and LTL logistics.
- Existing book of business with demonstrated ability to generate revenue.
- Strong knowledge of LTL logistics operations.
- Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to engage with strategic accounts at a high level.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to explore and develop opportunities nationwide.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
