About the Position

The Sr. Inventory Control Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing robust processes and company-wide strategic initiatives related to warehouse inventory accuracy, reporting, and cycle count programs.  The candidate chosen for this position will lead multiple teams of inventory control professionals, in multiple warehouse campuses, and will collaborate regularly with operations and administrative leaders to build meaningful relationships that help fuel the continued growth strategy of ITS Logistics.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Oversee multiple inventory control teams in at least three distribution and fulfilment campuses with total ownership of the teams and processes required to support rapid and ongoing company growth
  • Lead and develop a growing team of inventory control professionals
  • Set and execute the strategic vision for inventory control across ITS’ nationwide distribution and fulfilment network, creating and implementing program elements that improve accuracy, reduce cost, and increase efficiency
  • Leverage continuous improvement principles to analyze and improve inventory control program elements and procedures
  • Develop strategic relationships with operational leaders to drive visibility, and ultimately accountability, for inventory control accuracy and associated upstream processes
  • Acquire a strong understanding of internal WMS and reporting systems, leveraging them regularly to drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy

About the Requirements

Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Five + years of experience in a distribution environment with a strong understanding of WMS/ERP systems and inventory control/management practices is required
  • Five + years of progressive leadership experience, including experience leading other salaried leaders
  • Demonstrated experiences with ownership of strategic decision making and organizational/operational planning within a department or business segment
  • Prior 3PL experience is a plus
  • Understanding of continuous improvement concepts and methodologies and how to leverage them in
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, advanced problem resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Positive, team-first attitude and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments

Compensation

 Competitive Salary (95,000 – 125,000 DOE), This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program. A comprehensive multi-tiered benefits plan, paid time off and a matching 401k are included.
