About the Position
ITS has an immediate opening for a Credit Analyst at our Downtown Reno office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect financial data, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, credit history, and payment records
- Maintain accurate records of credit applications and decisions
- Assesses the borrower's ability to repay, considering various factors such as their repayment history, financial health, and overall credit profile
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing analysis and recommendations, which are then used by Managers to make informed decisions
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
- Assist in resolving credit-related issues, such as credit availability, and cash applications
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate credit setup
About the requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated record of accomplishment in accounting and cash applications.
- Accounting Experience: Previous experience in accounting or accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR) is preferred
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers
- Positive Attitude: Energetic, with a growth-oriented mindset
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other relevant software
- Multitasking: Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while efficiently prioritizing activities
- Process Improvement: Able to evaluate existing processes and implement improvements.
