Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, a bias for action, and experience in healthcare or a regulated industry? IVX Health is hiring a local HR Business Partner to support our growing national footprint.

This role is ideal for someone who leads with confidence, communicates with clarity, and isn’t afraid to take initiative—whether resolving complex issues, coaching leaders, or shaping culture in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

  • This role is hybrid working at our Corporate HQ in Brentwood, TN at least 3 days per week.
  • Initial training is fully onsite to ensure you’re set up for success and building strong relationship with our corporate leaders.
  • Quarterly travel required to support teams in the field, including Chicago, Connecticut, Kansas City, Indianapolis, and more!

What You’ll Do

  • Be a Trusted Advisor – Support leaders and employees across departments with proactive HR guidance and coaching
  • Resolve with Care and Integrity – Lead employee relations cases with a calm, compliant, and fair approach
  • Support Growth – Coach managers on feedback, performance conversations, and team development
  • Ensure Compliance – Interpret federal and state employment laws across multiple states
  • Partner on Recruiting – Work closely with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to support seamless onboarding and workforce planning
  • Reinforce Culture – Champion engagement, DEI, and culture-building initiatives that bring our values to life
  • Travel with Purpose – Conduct quarterly field visits to strengthen relationships and understand the unique needs of each market

Essential Competencies and Skills

  • HRIS Proficiency – Demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paycom, Workday, ADP) for managing employee data, generating reports, and streamlining HR processes

  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data to drive informed decisions and actionable insights

  • Influence & Partnership – Capable of influencing and partnering effectively with different levels of the organization to achieve results quickly

  • Strategic HR Expertise – Strong understanding and application of HR principles and practices in alignment with business objectives

  • Broad HR Knowledge – Knowledgeable in multiple HR disciplines including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, D&I, performance management, and employment law

  • Communication Excellence – Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and influence stakeholders

  • Organizational Skills – Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with keen attention to detail

  • Collaboration – Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a positive work culture and contributing to team success

  • Tech Savvy – Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams) and HR tech tools


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and/or PHR Certification preferred, but not required

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with responsibilities that align closely to core generalist functions (e.g., employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits, etc.) preferably in a healthcare or related field

  • Strong background in employee relations, including coaching leaders, addressing workplace concerns, and conducting investigations
