What Our NPs Typically Do in the Role

While responsibilities vary by market, Nurse Practitioners at IVX Health typically:

  • Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight for specialty infusions and injections
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor treatment responses
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapies, side effects, and disease management
  • Maintain documentation in the EHR and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
  • Collaborate closely with referring providers and internal care teams
  • Support clinical operations, inventory, and workflow efficiencies
  • Travel between centers within their designated market as needed

What We Typically Look For in Strong Candidates

  • Active and unrestricted NP license (and RN license if required by state) - must be able to treat across the life span
  • AANP or ANCC board certification
  • BLS certification required; PALS preferred
  • Experience in an ambulatory infusion center, specialty clinic, or similar setting (preferred)
  • Strong IV and infusion therapy skills; experience with biologics is a plus
  • Experience with EHR documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to support patients and families with compassion
