Senior Project Manager (Trade Shows, Events, Permanent Installations)

Oakville, Ontario, Canada

Experience Without Limits. Come shape the future of brand experience.

At Jack Morton, we create, and build, head-turning, smile-inducing, impact driving brand experiences. We exist to redefine what experiential can achieve, helping clients unlock the full value of experiences.

That takes a team that’s bold, curious, and acts as one - building on ideas, pushing boundaries, and showing up for each other. Here, you’ll do your best work, grow fast, and collaborate across clients, disciplines, and global teams to bring new ideas to life.

This is a place where curiosity drives what’s next, boldness raises the bar, and we win together. Where ownership is expected, egos are left at the door, and the work reflects the people behind it.

Experience without limits — in your work, your growth, and your impact.

We create memorable, strategic experiences for both virtual and live events. We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager (Trade Shows, Events, Permanent Installations) to help bring these moments to life. In this role, you’ll be the operational backbone behind custom-built trade show exhibits, brand environments, and large-scale event activations. You’ll own the details, drive the schedule, solve problems in real time, and collaborate across teams to deliver flawless results. You’ll also play a key role in supporting our Global Estimating process.

If you love building, planning, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional client experiences, this role puts you at the center of it all.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion and uphold all internal processes and policies with accuracy and consistency.
  • Use project management systems to keep communication clear and aligned across all operational teams.
  • Partner closely with Account Services to ensure every deliverable is on track.
  • Troubleshoot challenges proactively—whether client-facing or internal—keeping projects moving smoothly.
  • Support Global Estimating by preparing precise, timely cost estimates.
  • Manage projects of any size with confidence and minimal oversight.
  • Apply production knowledge to guarantee accurate, high-quality outputs.
  • Work with Design to select finishes, confirm availability, and secure approvals.
  • Keep projects on or under budget through strong decision-making and oversight.
  • Build and maintain work-back schedules; communicate changes quickly and clearly.
  • Develop and steward Implementation Plans (IP) to keep all teams aligned.
  • Source materials, manage vendor relationships, and handle purchase order requests.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractor and supplier services.
  • Reconcile all operational elements of a project thoroughly and on time.
  • Participate in post-project reviews to help evolve processes and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide Project Managers and Project Coordinators, helping grow the next generation of talent.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 8+ years of project management experience in the exhibit or events industry—or equivalent experience.
  • A strong grasp of structural mechanics and the ability to read/interpret CAD drawings.
  • A passion for people, collaboration, and exceptional client service.
  • A self-starter mindset—thriving in entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and independent environments.
  • Flexibility, curiosity, and a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business sense and an ability to build meaningful client relationships.
  • A talent for multitasking, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining impeccable organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with exhibit design rules, regulations, and production materials.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when needed and travel for on-site project delivery.
