Senior Account Director

New York, New York, United States

Experience Without Limits
Come shape the future of brand experience.

At Jack Morton, we design and build head-turning, smile-inducing, impact-driving brand experiences that redefine what experiential marketing can achieve. We help our clients unlock the full value of experiences by turning bold ideas into meaningful connections.

That takes a team that's bold, curious, and acts as one. We build on each other's ideas, challenge conventions, and show up for one another every day. Here, you'll do your best work, grow quickly, and partner across clients, disciplines, and global teams to bring new ideas to life.

This is a place where curiosity drives what’s next, boldness raises the bar, and every win is shared. Where ownership is expected, egos are left at the door, and the work reflects the passion and talent of the people behind it.

Experience without limits—in your work, your growth, and your impact.

**ability to work hybrid in a Jack US office highly preferred**

We're looking for a Senior Account Director (experiential/events/sponsorships/partnerships) who is a strategic client partner, business leader, and people leader. In this role, you will lead key client relationships, identify opportunities for growth, guide cross-functional teams, and deliver innovative experiential marketing solutions that drive measurable business impact. This seasoned Account Director will lead experiential partnerships and sponsorship programs for our clients. As experiential agency of record within a broader interagency model, you’ll understand how experiential works alongside media and social in a true 360 approach, and you’ll think strategically, not just tactically. You’ll turn lean client briefs into strong agency responses, negotiate contracts on clients’ behalf, build accurate scopes, and staff and lead teams well. Equally skilled at growing business and executing the work, you build lasting client relationships beyond the project, partner easily across functions, and stay dialed into what’s culturally relevant.

You will help clients create meaningful connections with their audiences through live, digital, content, sponsorship, hospitality, and integrated brand experiences. As a senior leader on the account team, you'll translate business objectives into breakthrough programs that engage consumers, customers, partners, employees, and fans. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, client leadership, experiential marketing expertise, strategic thinking, and team development skills with a passion for creating exceptional brand experiences.

What You'll Do

Deliver Exceptional Client Work

  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, brand positioning, audiences, industry dynamics, and growth opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel and helping clients navigate complex business challenges.
  • Lead integrated teams in developing innovative, insight-driven experiential marketing programs that drive brand engagement and business results.
  • Translate business challenges into strategic marketing and experience solutions across physical, digital, and hybrid environments.
  • Champion creative excellence while ensuring all work is grounded in client objectives, audience insights, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with strategy, creative, production, digital, social, sponsorship, and experiential teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Leverage market research, cultural insights, audience data, and program metrics to inform recommendations and demonstrate impact.
  • Foster collaboration across disciplines and create alignment among internal teams, agency partners, and client stakeholders.
  • Contribute strategic thinking and new ideas to client engagements, growth initiatives, and creative development processes.

Grow the Business

  • Develop and execute account growth strategies that deepen client partnerships and support sustainable revenue growth.
  • Build trusted relationships across client organizations, including senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to expand agency services and deliver additional value through experiential marketing, sponsorship, hospitality, content, and integrated solutions.
  • Develop strategic account plans and proactively uncover opportunities that align with client business priorities.
  • Lead account financial management, including forecasting, scope development, resource planning, profitability, and risk management.
  • Drive new business opportunities through qualification, pitch strategy, proposal development, and presentation delivery.

Grow People

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing account teams.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable team environment where employees can grow and thrive.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, development planning, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead by example and contribute to a culture grounded in respect, inclusion, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience in account management, client services, experiential marketing, integrated marketing, sponsorship marketing, or agency leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex client relationships and growing business within existing accounts.
  • Experience developing and delivering large-scale experiential marketing programs, live events, sponsorship activations, hospitality programs, employee experiences, customer engagements, or integrated campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of how brand experiences connect to broader marketing, communications, and business objectives.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, staffing plans, scopes of work, and account profitability.
  • Proven ability to identify business opportunities and translate them into actionable strategies and measurable results.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading teams.
  • Ability to leverage insights, research, and performance data to guide recommendations and evaluate success.

Preferred Experience

While not required, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Automotive, luxury, sports, technology, entertainment, or premium consumer brands.
  • Sponsorship, partnership, and fan engagement marketing.
  • Motorsports, racing, Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR, IMSA, MotoGP, or other sports marketing environments.
  • Hospitality, VIP experiences, customer engagement programs, and large-scale event platforms.
  • Global and multi-market experiential marketing programs.
  • Developing integrated experiences that connect brand, business, and culture in meaningful ways.

Last but not least, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion.
