Manager, Detailing
Experience Without Limits. Come shape the future of brand experience.
At Jack Morton, we create, and build, head-turning, smile-inducing, impact driving brand experiences. We exist to redefine what experiential can achieve, helping clients unlock the full value of experiences.
That takes a team that’s bold, curious, and acts as one - building on ideas, pushing boundaries, and showing up for each other. Here, you’ll do your best work, grow fast, and collaborate across clients, disciplines, and global teams to bring new ideas to life.
This is a place where curiosity drives what’s next, boldness raises the bar, and we win together. Where ownership is expected, egos are left at the door, and the work reflects the people behind it.
Experience without limits — in your work, your growth, and your impact.
As a Manager, Detailing, you’ll lead the engine behind how ideas become reality. Sitting at the intersection of creativity and execution, you’ll guide a team responsible for translating bold experiential concepts into precise, build-ready CAD/CAM documentation. This role is critical to delivering high-impact brand experiences across trade shows, activations, and permanent installations—ensuring every detail is accurate, efficient, and built to perform.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and manage a team of CAD Detailers across fulfillment centers and freelance networks
- Partner closely with Sales, Project Management, and 3D Design to translate creative concepts into production-ready drawings and specifications
- Oversee the development of CAD/CAM documentation for experiential builds, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Drive alignment across fulfillment teams to ensure seamless execution from concept through fabrication
- Establish and evolve standard operating procedures to improve detailing workflows and overall production effectiveness
- Own project planning including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent builds
- Participate in project launch meetings and weekly fulfillment calls to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Provide hands-on problem solving—clarifying drawings, resolving production challenges, and supporting cross-functional teams
- Mentor, train, and develop detailing talent while fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
- Standardize tools, systems, and software alignment across detailing teams and facilities
- Contribute to innovation by researching materials, fabrication techniques, and build solutions that push creative boundaries
If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might help if…
- You bring a strong background in CAD detailing within experiential, trade show, fabrication, or production environments
- You have experience leading and developing teams, with a hands-on leadership style
- You’re fluent in AutoCAD and understand the full build lifecycle—from concept through fabrication and install
- You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex design and production challenges independently
- You thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively partner with cross-functional teams
- You have strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- You’re passionate about process improvement and building scalable systems across teams
- You hold a Trade School diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Leadership & Impact
You’ll directly lead the Detailing team, with responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, and overall team direction. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver world-class experiential builds—ensuring our teams, tools, and processes are aligned to meet the demands of a growing business.
