We're looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to play a key role in identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, healthcare and trade show sectors.
In this role, you'll contribute across the full business development lifecycle - from identifying and qualifying prospects through to leading capability presentations and responding to RFIs. You'll work closely with colleagues across the agency and our global network to help drive sustainable growth.

Planning & Business Development

Collaborate with colleagues to identify, pursue and win new business opportunities.

Contribute to the development and delivery of the annual business development plan, including targeted campaigns and local marketing initiatives.

Support the creation of pursuit strategies for target accounts, using market and client research to inform meaningful engagement.

Generate and qualify leads, identify key stakeholders and build relationships with prospective clients.

Monitor and report on business development performance using KPIs and CRM dashboards.

Represent the agency at industry events, client meetings and networking opportunities.
Market Research

Research industry sectors, organisations and market trends to inform business development strategies.

Identify new opportunities through industry publications, events and professional networks.

Partner with the marketing team to align campaigns with target audiences and growth priorities.
Relationship Management

Build strong relationships across the agency and our global network.

Develop an understanding of clients' business objectives, challenges and long-term priorities.

Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop client-focused solutions.

Represent the agency externally with professionalism and credibility.

Partner with senior colleagues to encourage collaboration across teams and disciplines.
Content & Proposal Development

Contribute to the development of compelling business development materials, presentations and thought leadership content for internal and external audiences.

Support the preparation of capability presentations, proposals and RFI responses.
Team Collaboration & Operations

Foster effective collaboration between the business development team and other specialist disciplines.

Work closely with business development colleagues across EMEA, APAC and the US.

Maintain accurate CRM data, sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.
Strategic Thinking

Confidently communicate the agency's capabilities and value proposition.

Develop commercially sound solutions that create value for both clients and the agency.

Apply analytical thinking to identify opportunities and support informed decision-making.
What We're Looking For

Experience in business development, sales or client development, ideally within exhibitions, events, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or a related sector.

Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

A proactive approach with commercial awareness and curiosity.

The ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at different levels.

Strategic thinking combined with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines is an advantage.

Enjoy working collaboratively in an international, fast-paced environment.
