We’re looking for a Prep Tech Supervisor to lead our North Las Vegas prep team in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment. This role is ideal for an experienced supervisor who enjoys developing people, solving operational challenges, and keeping work moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
What You’ll Do
Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day work of the prep team, including inventorying, cleaning, repairing, and coordinating assemblies of exhibit-related properties, graphics, custom structures, rental assets, and event-related components to ensure show readiness.- Review exhibit drawings, production work orders, show specifications, and project requirements to determine dimensions, assembly needs, installation considerations, and the sequence of work.
- Assign work, set priorities, and adjust procedures and staffing to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Estimate labor requirements and monitor time and production records to support accurate planning and execution
- Lead, train, coach, and support team members while addressing performance concerns and resolving day-to-day work issues
- Interpret and reinforce company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Operate sit-down forklifts and scissor lifts and ensure safe material handling practices
- Identify opportunities to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality, working conditions, and team efficiency
- Partner with employees to troubleshoot work problems and develop practical solutions
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and other supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable law
- Coordinate closely with Project Management, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Show Services teams to ensure exhibit assets are prepared accurately and delivered on schedule.
- Verify exhibit components, graphics, hardware, and show-specific materials are complete, functional, and packed according to project and client requirements.
- Support implementation of quality control processes that ensure exhibit properties meet client expectations and are ready for installation at trade shows, events, and brand activations.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of related production, fabrication, exhibit, trade show, event production,
- warehouse, or prep experience and/or training; a relevant college or technical certificate is a plus
- Previous experience leading or supervising employees in a hands-on exhibit, event production, fabrication, warehouse, or logistics environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical instructions, diagrams, and production schedules
- Experience planning work, assigning tasks, solving problems, and adjusting priorities to meet deadlines
- Proficiency operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts
- Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and team leadership skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under tight timelines
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in event marketing, exhibits, experiential production, or a creative solutions-based environment is a plus
- Working knowledge of trade show exhibit systems, custom exhibit properties, graphics, rental inventory, crating, and material handling processes preferred.
- Familiarity with show schedules, installation and dismantle (I&D) requirements, and event-driven production timelines preferred.

- The prep team understands priorities, works safely, and meets production schedules
- Labor and production records are accurate and complete
- Exhibit components graphics, and show assets are properly inventoried, cleaned, repaired, staged, and ready for shipment, installation, or the next stage of production.
- Team members receive clear direction, support, accountability, and timely feedback
- Operational issues are identified early and resolved with practical solutions
- Projects are prepared accurately and delivered on time, minimizing onsite installation issues and supporting successful event execution.
- Inventory accuracy and asset accountability are maintained across exhibit properties, rental inventory, and client-owned materials.
Physical & Work Environment
- This is an onsite, hands-on role in a production shop environment
- The role requires regular interaction with employees, equipment, materials, and active production work
- The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, and lift or move materials as needed to perform the essential functions of the role
- The work environment may include moderate noise and other conditions typical of an active production facility
- Work may occasionally require extended hours, overtime, or schedule flexibility during peak trade show and event production periods.
