All Majors Estimathon® at CMU

An Estimathon is a mind-bending mixture of math and trivia. In teams, you'll attempt 13 Fermi problems in 30 minutes, ranging from totally trivial to positively Putnamesque. At this event, we’re particularly excited to meet students studying biology, chemistry, physics, linguistics, statistics, economics, and other sciences and liberal arts who may be less familiar with Jane Street and what we do. Come play and hear Streeters with diverse academic backgrounds talk about their pathway to Jane Street.
