Senior Director / AVP/VP - Sales (Financial Services) 
Location:  US - NY 

Role Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Director / VP - Sales (Financial Services) to lead our business development efforts in the financial services sector. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding JazzX AI’s footprint within financial institutions, investment firms, and related organizations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise sales, deep industry knowledge of financial services, and experience in AI-driven solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and meet ambitious targets.
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing sales team to sell JazzX AI’s platform and solutions.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at target customers in the financial services industry, particularly in loan origination and loan servicing.
  • Business Development: Leverage industry connections and a strong network to identify and close new business opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, alliances and deployment teams to ensure successful customer deployments.
  • Sales Leadership & Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to the broader sales organization to foster a culture of high performance and customer success. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

Experience:  

  • 15-20 years of proven sales experience, with at least 5-10 years in the financial services industry selling technology platforms or digital operations.
  • Experience selling operations and technology transformations in any one of the following industries would be a big plus 
  • Lending Origination or Servicing Operations, especially in mid-market lending, SMB lending or Asset-backed finance 
  • Mortgage Origination and Servicing
  • Asset Management 
  • Alternatively, experience selling technology platforms for above industries would be a big plus (e.g., Loan Origination System, Underwriting Systems, Risk Management Systems, Servicing Platforms) 

  Deep understanding of Disruptive Power of AI:   

  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of AI-powered solutions and translate technical capabilities into business impact  
  • Understanding and ability to articulate interplay of AI with humans, business processes and existing technologies 

 Financial Services Experience: 

  • Understanding of economics various functions and activities across the value chain of the above industries and the ability to estimate potential impact of AI to the economics of those functions
  • Understanding of various regulatory and compliance requirement in the financial services sector and how AI deployments would continue to address these requirements 

 Sales Performance:  

  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing large, complex deals.
  • Extensive relationships with C-suite and senior executives at banks, non-bank lenders, and other financial institutions. 

Communication & Negotiation: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
