Role Overview:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to lead enterprise sales for our cutting-edge platform for the Mortgage Origination industry. This individual will be responsible for driving net new revenue by closing large, strategic accounts with top mortgage originators, lenders, and financial institutions.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of selling enterprise SaaS solutions into the mortgage or broader financial services space, excelling in consultative, high-value deal environments. This is a quota-carrying role with a strong focus on building executive relationships, navigating complex buying cycles, and closing 3–4 transformative deals annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing for enterprise accounts.
  • Deliver $5M annual quota through 3–4 high-value deals with mortgage originators and large financial institutions.
  • Develop and execute account strategies targeting C-suite decision-makers (CIO, CTO, CRO, Head of Mortgage Operations).
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment with client needs and a smooth implementation process.
  • Position the value proposition of our AGI platform in solving critical challenges across mortgage origination workflows, compliance, risk, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and sales activity reporting in CRM.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and strategic networking events.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven SaaS sales exec with a process/product-centric consultative selling ability who has achieved $5M ARR bookings in recent years
  • Strong relationships with key CXO’s in mortgage lending firms that are in the $ 1B-50B range in annual mortgage origination
  • Strong Sales Mindset. Has consistently met/exceeded quota at high-growth SaaS software firms
  • Strong background in mortgage origination technology, LOS systems, AI/automation platforms, or fintech solutions.
  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of AI-powered solutions and translate technical capabilities into business impact 
  • Strong understanding and articulation of mortgage industry challenges (compliance, cost efficiency, digital transformation, borrower experience).
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ideally has worked at startup companies and understands the complexity of selling new products based on new AI technology 
  • Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Proximity to airport would be helpful as the person would spend significant time at client locations
