Platform Product Designer

Role Overview

This is a systems-level design role focused on shaping how the platform works end-to-end.

You will define how complex capabilities—reuse systems, evaluation frameworks, and domain intelligence—come together into coherent, scalable workflows. You will lead design initiatives that turn product strategy into durable, reusable systems.

What You Will Own

Platform Experience & Systems Design

• Own end-to-end UX across major platform capability areas
• Define interaction models for complex systems (AI workflows, orchestration, debugging, explainability)
• Ensure platform primitives are usable, composable, and scalable
• Balance flexibility, correctness, and usability in system design

Reuse & Workflow Design

• Define how reusable components are discovered, configured, versioned, and composed
• Design workflows for adapting and customizing reusable assets
• Turn repeated solution patterns into scalable UX abstractions

AI Quality, Evaluation & Debugging UX

• Integrate evaluation into core builder workflows
• Design debugging experiences using comparisons, signals, diffs, and insights (not just logs)
• Clearly surface quality metrics, regressions, and system behavior

Domain Intelligence & Configuration UX

• Design workflows for configuring domain logic, reasoning systems, and knowledge assets
• Enable collaboration between technical users and domain experts
• Ensure domain intelligence integrates seamlessly across workflows

Prototyping, Research & Iteration

• Lead rapid prototyping and validation of complex concepts
• Define and drive user research to de-risk product decisions
• Use data and insights to continuously evolve the experience

Builder Experience & Adoption

• Advocate for builder productivity and clarity across workflows
• Identify and eliminate systemic friction across the platform
• Ensure smooth transition from experimentation to production deployment

Design Leadership & Collaboration

• Drive UX strategy in collaboration with Product and Engineering
• Influence product direction through design thinking and user insights
• Mentor designers and elevate design quality and culture
• Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problem spaces

What We Are Looking For

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design
• Proven experience designing complex platforms, developer tools, or enterprise SaaS
• Strong portfolio showcasing systems thinking and product impact
• Experience working on 0→1 and scaling products

Skills & Capabilities

• Deep expertise in interaction design, systems thinking, and architecture
• Ability to design highly complex, multi-layered workflows
• Strong understanding of technical user personas
• Experience building and scaling design systems
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and prototyping
• Ability to translate AI/ML capabilities into usable experiences
• Experience designing AI/ML or agent-based systems
• Familiarity with workflow/BPM tools or developer platforms
• Experience with multi-tenant enterprise systems
• Strong ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on complex concepts
• Experience leading user research and incorporating insights into product design
