Project Manager - 3PL Warehouse Order Flow & Optimization

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee one of our largest clients and ensure seamless order flow and operational excellence.

Job Overview:
As the Project Manager for Warehouse Order Flow & Optimization, you will be the key liaison between a high-profile client and our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the client's needs are fully understood and effectively executed by our warehouse teams. This includes overseeing order flow processes, improving operational efficiencies, and driving continuous improvement in collaboration with both the client and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned client, ensuring their expectations and operational requirements are clearly communicated to the warehouse leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with the client to understand their business, order flow, and operational challenges, providing solutions to optimize efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions with warehouse managers and team leaders to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in warehouse operations, from inbound logistics to order fulfillment, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, working with both the client and warehouse teams to resolve challenges and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to promote transparency, collaboration, and mutual success.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that improve warehouse productivity, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to both the client and internal leadership on project status, performance, and improvement plans.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, or Project Manager within a 3PL or logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, order flow, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and provide practical, effective solutions.
  • Experience in process optimization and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide both clients and internal teams.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large client accounts in a 3PL setting.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or similar experience managing large-scale projects.
