About the Role:

Client: A leading global technology corporation 

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Account Manager to serve as the primary day-to-day lead and interface for one of our most important clients for JeffreyGroup Argentina. This is a critical role that demands more than just account management; it requires the insight of a public affairs strategist and the diplomacy of a senior advisor. You will be the trusted representative of the client, responsible for safeguarding their reputation, navigating complex regulatory and political landscapes in Argentina, and providing strategic counsel to the client's senior leadership. The successful candidate will start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Leadership & Strategy: Act as the principal point of contact and trusted advisor for the client's country leadership (including President). Develop and execute integrated public affairs and strategic communication plans.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Government Relations: Represent the client in meetings with government officials, industry associations, and other key stakeholders. Monitor the political and regulatory environment, providing timely analysis and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Issues & Reputation Management: Proactively identify and manage potential issues, including sensitive matters such as market-specific challenges. Lead crisis preparedness and response.

  • Senior Counsel: Provide high-level strategic advice to the client on positioning, public perception, and business environment in Argentina. Ensure all activities are aligned with the client's global standards and local business objectives.

  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's industry, business model, and competitive landscape in Argentina.

 

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in public affairs, government relations, public policy,  regulatory affairs and strategic communications, within a global corporation or top-tier consultancy/agency.
  • Poven experience in government advocacy and managing complex regulatory issues. Proven track record of working directly with or within government bodies is a strong advantage.
  • Strong capacity for legislative analysis, drafting policy documents, and negotiating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English. Must be able to communicate complex strategies confidently and clearly with C-suite executives for whom English is the business language.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Integrity, political acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
