The Technical Assistant provides technical underwriting support for assigned accounts/agencies within the team as well as making individual underwriting decisions on referred accounts.
The Technical Assistant will work a hybrid schedule from our Atlanta, GA office.
Responsibilities:
- Customer assistance via timely response to agents and underwriters via phone and email
- Maintain superior service standards with strong attention to detail.
- Track client deliverables including but not limited to:
- Policy issuance and delivery
- Endorsement issuance and delivery
- Invoicing and delivery
- Account clearance via Jencap clearance system
- Organizing and maintaining new and renewal files
- New business submissions
- Renewal submissions
- Administrative assistance on new and renewal business to the brokerage team.
- Ordering of loss runs for renewals and analysis of loss runs upon receipt
- Assist with data organization of renewal strategy documents and proposal documents
- Manage client schedules of locations and values
- Prepare catastrophe modeling imports
- Invoicing of accounts
- Tracking of open items
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Obtain insurance license within 6 months of hire date
- Compensation: commiserate with experience
- Complete training with internal agency management system while performing during daily duties
- In office attendance as directed by corporate guidelines and manager designation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded.
