The Account Receivable Specialist will coordinate the processing of incoming Accounts Receivable from Carriers, work with Carriers, our production and service departments to reconcile discrepancies and handle other miscellaneous clerical duties as needed

The Account Receivable Specialist will work a hybrid schedule from our Atlanta office.

Responsibilities: 

  •  Post incoming payments from Carriers, match them to corresponding statements.
  •  Coordinate the reconciliation process with third party vendor to process statements/invoices.
  •  Correspond with retail agents regarding commissions.
  •  Pull vendor invoices and forward them to corporate for payments
  •  Review and reconcile discrepancies.
  •  Reconcile and respond to retail agents’ inquiries/discrepancies.
  •  Special projects as needed.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-5 years relevant experience required.
  • Insurance background/experience preferred but not necessary
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn industry specific and accounting software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills a must 

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded.
