Job Overview
Jensen Hughes is the global leader in safety, security and risk-based engineering and consulting. Since 1939 our international team of 1,500+ engineers, technical experts, architects, and consultants’ partner with clients in 100+ countries to make our world safe, secure and resilient.
Our most recent expansion in Europe early in 2023 was our first entry into the Danish market with the acquisition of BRANDGRUPPEN, a specialist fire engineering consultancy.
BRANDGRUPPEN was established in Copenhagen in 2021. Becoming part of the Jensen Hughes team provides the Danish business opportunities to work on complex global projects as well as enhancing their offering to existing clients.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking to hire additional Fire Engineering talent into our Denmark offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
Responsibilities
- You will work with us to deliver complete and competent Fire Engineering consultancy for development companies, major architectural firms, general contractors and multi discipline consultancy companies.
- Our projects span public and private sectors. We are involved in some of the largest construction projects in Denmark and at the same time also have access to even larger and more complex projects globally if this challenge is desired.
- In Denmark our team consists of 11 highly skilled engineers. Soon we will celebrate that 50% of the team is certified at the highest level making us one of the largest certified consultancies in Denmark.
- We also have two BK2-certified fire engineers.
Requirements and Qualifications
To set you up for success in this role from day one (at a minimum) the following qualifications/experience are required:
1. Engineering qualification alongside work experience in fire engineering on projects in fire class 2, 3 and 4.
2. Right to work in Denmark and native level proficiency in Danish language.
