Jensen Hughes has a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Security Consultant to join our market leading security team.

This role will be based in India while supporting projects across UAE, Qatar or KSA with remote and hybrid options available.

As a Security Consultant with Jensen Hughes, you will be responsible for providing expert-level security consulting services to our clients across the Middle East region. You will leverage your extensive technical knowledge and expertise in the areas of electronic and physical security and proposal writing to develop and implement comprehensive security solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.Our suite of security services includes master planning, threat and risk assessments, crisis management, and emergency response preparedness. By incorporating this security-oriented approach, our team stands as a vital asset in addressing multifaceted security challenges and ensuring the safety and resilience of our clients' assets and operations.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Develop detailed technical designs and engineer robust and often customised security solutions (from Concept Design level to Issue for construction documentation and drawings).
  • Apply expertise across a board range of security subjects such as networking, security management, access control, perimeter and intrusion detection, intercommunication and surveillance including the application of artificial intelligence and the ability to calculate storage, bandwidth and power/heat requirements.
  • Responsible for applying a variety of physical site hardening solutions through not only traditional forms such as physical barriers, etc. but also the use of hard and soft landscaping, street furniture and street art.
  • Understand and apply the defense in depth and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles
  • Understand and apply security standards applicable to each project with the ability to demonstrate compliance to key stakeholders.
  • Compile and deliver client specific presentations that logically and succinctly outline the projects security goals, objectives, and initiatives, systems proposed and standards and principles they will be based upon.
  • Create technical drawings and coordinate the production of these in both AutoCAD and BIM (to LOD 300) with our drafting teams.
  • Manage projects including deliverables, meetings, presentations, program and financials while being responsible for writing detailed proposals that outline the scope of work, timelines, budgets, and expected outcomes, and present them to our clients.
  • Work with other project disciplines to ensure security solutions are properly integrated.

Role requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as security studies, security management, or industry recognised certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Security Consultant (CSC) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).
  • Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in security design and proposal writing with demonstrable experience on physical layouts & plans, equipment rooms design, landscaping and environmental design for security
  • Experience gained within the projects related to the hospitality, high rise buildings, malls, community buildings, transportation including, airports, rails and metros will be highly valued
  • Knowledge of applicable security standards particularly those in the UAE through Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) and in Saudi Arabia through the Ministry of Interior (MOI) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present confidently to project teams and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage complex calculations including band width calculation, write clear & concise technical documents/specifications, proposals and communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and on budget.
  • Ready to travel when required, to the locations across Middle East
