Job Overview

This role could be based at any of our UK&I offices. However other European offices or remote working would also be considered.

Jensen Hughes has an exciting opportunity for an energetic Field Marketing Coordinator to join our International team (focused on UK+I and Europe). The ideal candidate is a curious, nimble, flexible self-starter who learns quickly and is a highly capable solutions-oriented coordinator. This role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable and enjoys a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams. In this role you will:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of business offerings, clients and positioning as well as geographies among different business units/locales incorporating into plans and tactics.
  • Be part of the Proposal and Field marketing team, where you will learn and understand the marketing needs/requirements of the assigned geographic business and service line(s). Curiosity and learning agility are essential.
  • Liaise with the Corporate Marketing Communications organisation to translate regional/service line needs/requirements into plans or broader campaigns that involve a multitude of tactics while embracing facilitation and collaboration.
  • Work with the team to drive the execution of the marketing tactics for the region/service with other organisation members to get work done. When constraints interfere with urgency, be willing and able to jump in and complete deliverables individually. Be willing to act as an extension of the rest of the team when help is needed. A rollup-your-sleeves, get-it-done attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional operations leadership and service line leaders to learn, understand, identify and prioritise regional/service line-focused marketing needs with input and direction from your manager.
  • Be involved in the development and implementation of an annual marketing plan that supports region/service line growth needs and opportunities.
  • Help develop, facilitate, and execute marketing tactics at the regional/ service level. Support broader campaigns. Tactics may include, but are not limited to, marketing communications campaigns, thought-leadership initiatives (i.e., blogs, webinars, case studies, new pages), social media, email, speaking opportunities and events/conferences.
  • Support regional/service line strategy business development efforts by contributing to the expansion of existing regional/service line materials, helping to grow a repository that celebrates and promotes achievements including thought leadership, project photos, testimonials, case studies and project profiles while maintaining brand standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development, operations, legal, sales, marketing, regional/global leaders, and subject matter experts.
  • Partner with marketing and proposal team members to develop data analytics, conversion, and ROI reporting to inform insights that lead to marketing optimisations.
  • Leverage internal workflow tools to manage and report workload.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Post graduate experience in marketing, campaign management, conference/trade show support. Experience working within the event industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for this international position. Multilingual abilities are an added bonus, with preference given to Dutch, French, German, Italian or Danish.
  • Prior experience with architecture, engineering or construction (AEC) or related professional service firm desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals and build credibility within a network environment to effectively balance business and functional priorities for win-win results.
  • Ability to offer fresh, innovative, “out-of-the-box” ideas to augment marketing strategy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, quality control review, copywriting, grammatical and proofreading skills.
  • Copywriting skills and experience in creating engaging project descriptions are highly valued.
  • High-energy, self-starter with outstanding project management and organisational skills who thinks strategically and systemically to develop effective strategies and implement plans.
  • Be highly articulate with a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving and good decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to be client-focused, both internal and external, work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise high workload and meet tight timelines.
  • Strong understanding of brand elements and guidelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/365 (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn) and virtual meeting platforms (i.e., MS Teams).
  • Understanding of SEO best practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with writing social media posts for business (LinkedIn, Instagram) is a plus.
  • Occasional flexibility to work extended hours to accommodate deliverables may be required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field of study is preferred.
  • Post graduate related experience in engineering/building/B2B or similar industry
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
