Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator & Sourcing Specialist based in Mumbai to support our recruiting efforts across the globe. This role combines strategic sourcing with recruiting coordination responsibilities including helping the team attract, engage, and onboard top engineering talent efficiently and effectively.
You’ll focus on sourcing passive candidates, building pipelines, and assisting in various recruitment coordination tasks such as job postings on social media, background check monitoring, onboarding support, and university relations.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Talent Engagement
- Build and manage candidate pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill roles
- Proactively source engineering and technical professionals (e.g., fire protection engineers, nuclear engineers and safety consultants) using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and targeted campaigns.
- Conduct outreach and initial screens to assess qualifications and interest, handing off qualified talent to recruiters for next steps.
- Support talent mapping and competitive research in key markets.
- In partnership with the marketing team, develop and run targeted LinkedIn campaigns to boost employer visibility and candidate engagement.
Recruitment Coordination
- Post and manage job requisitions across external platforms (LinkedIn, university boards, niche boards, etc.).
- Track and monitor candidate progress through background check and initiate onboarding.
- Partner with HR and hiring teams to ensure a smooth pre-boarding and onboarding experience.
- Prepare offer details and support offer letter routing as needed in partnership with the talent acquisition partner.
University Relations & Events
- Support logistics and planning for university career fairs, co-op and internship hiring, and early-career outreach.
- Partner with team members on campus strategy, booth management, resume tracking, and follow-up communications.
- Contribute to building relationships with engineering schools, faculty, and student organizations.
Talent Systems & Reporting
- Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of the Greenhouse ATS.
- Generate standard and ad hoc recruiting reports and dashboards for TA leadership and business stakeholders.
- Help ensure data integrity and compliance across requisitions, interviews, and offer workflows.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–4 years of experience in a sourcing, recruiting coordination, or talent acquisition role preferably in engineering, consulting, or technical services.
- Hands-on experience using sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and others).
- Experience with Greenhouse or a similar ATS, including reporting and dashboard functionality.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to support multiple recruiters and hiring teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-touch environment that values compliance and candidate experience.
Preferred:
- Exposure to onboarding processes and background screening tools.
- Familiarity with university recruiting and early-career talent programs.
- Interest in branding and social media content related to hiring campaigns.
