Job Overview
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be an important member of our Corporate Accounting team, helping ensure the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of our financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of accounting activities, including journal entry preparation, month-end close, and supporting year-end audits and tax filings. You’ll also play a key role in analyzing account information, reconciling balances, and resolving discrepancies.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment but also values teamwork, continuous learning, and making meaningful contributions to the bigger picture. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to collaborate regularly with colleagues across the organization and interact with mid-level management as well as senior financial leaders.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a smooth and timely month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany account balances
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a proactive and timely manner
- Prepare cash reconciliations for both U.S. and international accounts, addressing reconciling items as they arise
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, providing insights to support decision-making
- Participate in annual consolidated audits and assist with international statutory audits and tax filings
- Prepare and file tax-related forms, such as personal property tax returns
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, recommend solutions, and support implementation while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Research technical accounting matters and draft internal memos to support business needs
- Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Project Accounting teams to ensure alignment with accounting policies and financial reporting
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA strongly preferred, but not required)
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, foreign currencies, or international accounting is a plus
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

National Pay Range
$80,000 - $95,000 USD
