About Jetson

Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. We believe in a future that is 100% electric and 100% better.

Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, yet adoption of solutions like heat pumps remains slow due to cost and complexity. Jetson is solving this by building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company — making clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable.

We rely heavily on technology, automation, and data to scale this impact. At Jetson, we value people who are excellent at their craft, curious about new tools (including AI), and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done.

The Opportunity:

Jetson Home makes it easy for homeowners to replace their HVAC systems with modern heat pumps — fully online, instant quotes, no pressure. Our financing program is a core part of why customers choose us, and this role exists to own and evolve that entire ecosystem across five markets, four lender tiers, multiple government programs, and a future captive lending platform.

The Consumer Financing Coordinator sits at the intersection of lender relationships, government programs, sales operations, and product development — keeping the financing process running smoothly for every customer while simultaneously helping build the next generation of Jetson's lending capabilities.

  • High-impact role at a company where financing is a competitive differentiator, not an afterthought
  • Direct exposure to captive lending program development — a rare opportunity at a company this stage
  • Collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment where your work is visible and your input is valued
  • Remote-first with a team spread across the US and Canada

What You Will Do:

Lender & Program Management

  • Serve as a point of contact for Jetson's network of financing partners, including first-look lenders and waterfall providers
  • Monitor approval rates, funding timelines, and performance metrics across all lender tiers and flag anomalies early
  • Manage ongoing relationships with government and utility program administrators across all five markets: Go Green (CA), Renu/Westerra/Elevations (CO), Mass Save (MA), GJGNY/NYSERDA via Slipstream (NY), and CleanBC ESP (BC)
  • Stay current on program rule changes, funding availability, and new incentive opportunities across all markets

Operations & Customer Journey

  • Manage the financing workflow from application submission through final funding, including the pre-installation financing verification step
  • Handle exceptions, escalations, and edge cases that arise during the customer financing process
  • Coordinate handoffs between the sales team, project coordinators, and lenders to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Maintain and improve process documentation, including the multi-step financing flow from quote through final payment

Program Buildout & Strategy Support

  • Support the evaluation and launch of Jetson's future captive lending program, including vendor selection, program design, and rollout coordination
  • Help research new lending partners and government programs as Jetson expands into new markets
  • Contribute to the development of the four-tier financing waterfall — ensuring the customer experience across tiers feels seamless, not like a fallback
  • Track regulatory and compliance requirements across US and Canadian markets, flagging anything that affects how financing is offered or documented

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the engineering team on platform integrations — you won't write code, but you'll be the business owner defining requirements, testing flows, and coordinating launches
  • Partner with sales to train reps on financing options, approval likelihood, and how to present financing to customers effectively
  • Collaborate with operations on the pre-installation verification process to ensure financed jobs are funded before installation begins
  • Collaborate with the Rebates team as these financing offers are a complementary offering to our end consumers.

What You Bring:

  • 2–4 years of experience in consumer lending, financial services operations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple lender relationships and workflows simultaneously
  • Comfortable working across multiple markets and understanding that rules, programs, and processes differ by geography
  • Clear communicator — able to translate between financial/technical partners and internal sales and operations teams
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of catching errors before they become problems
  • Experience with modern tools, including AI, to automate and make your day more efficient.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with home improvement, HVAC, or clean energy financing programs
  • Familiarity with government or utility rebate programs (e.g., GJGNY, Mass Save, CleanBC ESP)
  • Exposure to LOS platforms, loan origination workflows, or fintech partner integrations
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment where you've had to build processes from scratch
  • Comfort with HubSpot or similar CRM tools

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
