Jimini’s team of experienced health-tech founders and world-renowned researchers is leveraging LLMs and cutting-edge science to develop radically more effective, engaging, and scalable mental health solutions.
Mental health care is stuck below a ceiling of mediocre therapeutic effects and suffers from a severe lack of access and poor patient satisfaction. The root cause of these problems is a lack of innovation in therapeutic care models.
Jimini is solving these problems with its new, scientifically-backed continuous-care psychotherapy model. Jimini is building a robust, clinically integrated, purpose-built LLM-powered therapist to deliver continuous care under the supervision of a clinician alongside rigorous outcome measurement, another critical component lacking in existing care delivery. Jimini leverages the full 168 hours in a week, not just the traditional 1 hour with a therapist. Jimini’s care model will lead to the first major improvement in clinical outcomes and client satisfaction since the advent of CBT. Jimini’s repeat entrepreneur founding team brings deep expertise in ML/AI, product design, biotech, clinical study design and development, and healthcare reimbursement.
Since Jimini’s launch in September 2023, it has established the legal, regulatory, and compliance infrastructure to deliver care to patients, hired top clinicians, built an MVP of its care model and product (which was designed based on hundreds of user interviews and deep curation of scientific literature), and tested it (achieving desired engagement for initial users). Jimini’s technical team has identified numerous safety and clinical shortcomings of competing psychotherapeutic LLMs and chatbots, and has built its own AI already 4X better than other bots across various clinical tasks.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP or Director of Marketing to lead the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives for Jimini. While the most critical task this leader will drive is client acquisition, the ideal candidate will be able to manage all aspects of marketing, including brand development, marketing analytics, content marketing, and comms, and will know how to weave all the threads together into a cohesive plan. We are looking for a rockstar growth marketer with deep consumer experience who is both scrappy and hands-on, as well as skilled at leading organic and other efforts.
We’re a start-up, so this candidate will need to be able to execute much of the work themselves (with agencies), but we have big plans and are scaling quickly, so we need someone who can (eventually) manage a team.
A deep understanding of the mental health and healthcare landscape is a plus, but not a requirement. More important is a demonstrated ability to successfully launch new category-defining products. We don’t want to win a dogfight with our competitors, we want to establish an entirely new category that we own and bring relief to millions of new customers in the process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and retention of Jimini’s mental health service offering.
- Manage digital marketing channels, including SEO, SMM, SEM, influencer marketing, and content marketing, to maximize reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features, benefits, and competitive advantages for use in our campaigns.
- Lead the development of brand positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with our target audience.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including website content, blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Drive market research, customer insights, and analytics to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives and establish Jimini as a leading authority in mental health innovation.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and the media.
- (Eventually) lead a high-performing team that fosters a culture of collaboration, creativity, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Deep experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare or mental health industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business results. In particular, a record of leveraging digital strategies to drive large-scale customer acquisition
- A deep empathy for our clients and a passion for improving global mental health.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and measure ROI.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, anticipate market trends, and adapt to changing dynamics.
