Role Overview

Jimini Health is seeking a talented and product-oriented Frontend Software Engineer with experience in React and React Native to help shape the future of our digital health platform. In this role, you’ll focus on building engaging and intuitive user experiences across our patient-facing mobile app and therapist-facing web app, playing a key role in delivering high-quality mental health care at scale.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to bring seamless and accessible user journeys to life. While your core strength lies in frontend development, full-stack experience is a plus—especially if you’re comfortable contributing to backend systems when needed.

The products you build will empower patients to take control of their mental health and enable therapists to support more people effectively and efficiently.

What we’re looking for in this role

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend development
• Expertise in React (web) and React Native (mobile), with a proven track record of shipping production-ready applications
• Strong eye for design and user experience; ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
• Experience building mobile and web apps from the ground up, ideally in high-communication or health tech contexts
• A passion for 0-to-1 product development and working in fast-paced, startup environments
• Empathy for end users and a commitment to creating accessible, user-friendly experiences
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and distilling complex problems into clear implementation plans
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams and iterating quickly based on user feedback
• Bonus: Familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js, Python, Postgres, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

Your day-to-day

• Frontend Development: Design and build responsive, intuitive, and delightful UIs for mobile (React Native) and web (React) platforms
• Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to define features and user journeys
• User Research and Iteration: Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to continuously improve app usability and performance
• Backend Support (if full-stack): Contribute to backend services as needed to support frontend features
• Product Thinking: Participate in ideation sessions, bringing a frontend perspective to user needs and potential solutions
