Production Scheduler - Inventory Control

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Provide Support to Operation, scheduling, and warehouse to ensure production meet weekly Demand base on Customer orders. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Daily review of production documentation from previous day. 
  • Review Mixer sheet and ingredient usage for any material concern. 
  • Review Planning demand and create wok order on JDE to be able to print batch sheet for operation daily. 
  • Developing and maintaining production schedules following the Demand planner spreadsheet. 
  • Maintain 3 weeks schedule on JDE to be able to run the Material Requirement report. 
  • Data Analysis. 
  • Review the daily MFG report from finished good(freezer) to ensure the product is being scanned correctly before JDE daily approval. 
  • Review the ULTI and sign in sheet with the volunteer list of OT needs to match labor category by department. 
  • Maintain Inventory for Production supplies and send an email to production manager to order any supplies. Needs to submit the Purchase requisition form for approval to maintain and control Department Budget by Period. 
  • Maintain the schedule update with any changes that may occur after schedule is posted on JDE and J&J portal. 
  • Weekly scans of CINTAS after review by Production Manager and sign by the Plant manager. Upload the Invoices to NJ (Bellmawr) 
  • Maintaining Records for Daily paperwork for Production including daily sign in sheet by shift to ensure the hours match Ulti.  
  • Update BI dashboard with the Daily waste report from Bakery-feed. Uptown waste Report Excel spreadsheet. 
  • The daily report from production calculates usage for material concern that appear on the daily mixer sheets. Any adjustment needs to be submitted with the JDE report.  
  • Scheduler will be required to maintain a close communication with the Buyer, warehouse and Distribution of any changes that may impact Materials, Trucks and WOS FG inventory to avoid product Cuts. 
  • Other Duties as assigned. 

Coverage: 

  • In the absence of the Production scheduler, assigned personnel will cover. 
  • The 4th Saturday of each month is required to work for about 4 hours to close the Month.  
  • This Task will be communicated from Finance what Saturday will be require for coverage.

To perform this job successfully, Production Scheduler / Inventory Control must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detail-oriented, and able to stay on task. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

  • Excellent organization and time management skills. 
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish a versatile and evolving workload.  
  • Excellent in all forms of communication.  
  • Skilled at PowerPoint, Excel design and ideation.  
  • Innovative, problem solver, flexible, and able to juggle multiple priorities. 
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.   

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  

High Diploma or GDE required.  

US Salary Pay Range

$65,000 - $75,000 USD
