Senior Demand Generation Manager

About the Role:
As we shift from purely capturing demand to skillfully creating it, we are taking on an exciting new challenge. Your mandate expands to a more holistic, strategic, and impactful charter: building a lead generation engine that consistently produces high-quality, cost-effective leads at earlier stages of the buyer journey for home service providers (SPs).
You will architect, test, and refine scalable strategies that attract and nurture SPs who are primarily unaware or problem-aware, as well as those resistant to “free trial” messaging but otherwise solution-aware. Your mission: master the art and science of demand creation, laying the foundation for a sustainable, low-CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) pipeline that feeds our long-term growth.
The Senior Demand Generation Manager will:
- Strategic Vision & Leadership
- Champion and shape our approach to demand creation and early-stage lead generation for Jobber.
- Drive the evolution from channel-by-channel tactics toward a unified, company-wide playbook for effective, sustainable lead generation.
- Lead Generation Engine Development
- Build, test, and iterate lead generation programs targeting home service business owners at multiple stages of awareness (unaware, problem-aware, solution-aware but not activation-ready).
- Devise scalable methods for attracting, nurturing, and converting leads into sales-ready opportunities, outside of our current “free trial” acquisition funnel.
- Data-Informed Experimentation & Insights
- Rapidly prototype (“MVP”) new organic and low-cost acquisition tactics, including content syndication, lead magnets, webinars, nurture tracks, partnerships, and more.
- Rigorously analyze funnel metrics, providing actionable, data-driven recommendations for optimization and scale.
- Enablement & Horizontal Coordination
- Codify successful programs into best-practice toolkits and guides.
- Collaborate horizontally across the Demand Generation team, enabling channel owners to adopt, adapt, and expand on proven strategies up-funnel.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Optimization
- Build strong partnerships with Lifecycle Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Web Strategy, Creative Studio, and Community teams to collaboratively optimize the entire lead journey from end-to-end.
- Business Impact and Company Growth
- Directly support Jobber’s objectives to reduce reliance on paid marketing, increase pipeline efficiency, and expand organic growth channels.
- Proactively advocate for the customer and the business, identifying new opportunities based on evolving market needs.
To be successful, you should have:
- Strong expertise in lead generation principles across digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Expertise in data analysis, optimizing conversion funnels, and leveraging tools such as Hubspot, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, a proactive approach, and a passion for empowering small businesses.
- A strategic thinker who is comfortable advocating a vision, influencing peers, and working cross-functionally.
- Creative and customer-centric: able to ideate, test, and scale new approaches to reaching an audience across the awareness spectrum.

It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had:
- Familiarity with SaaS performance metrics and the dynamics of high-growth environments.
- An affinity for leveraging AI-led tools to enhance growth efficiency.

Compensation:
At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $121,000, a midpoint of $142,200, and a maximum salary of $163,600, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.
We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
